Residents of a posh leafy suburb say their street has become a hotspot for drug dealing.

Although it's home to a historic building owned by Shakespeare's wife, locals say they are miserable and live in fear since county lines drugs gangs moved into the street.

00:15locals say they are miserable and live in fear since County Line's drugs gangs moved in on the street.
00:22Elderly residents report seeing cars full of big men coming and going at all hours of the day and night,
00:29and teen yobs throw stones at windows in the once peaceful street where house prices average £406,000.
00:39The village is home to the famous cottage owned by Anne Hathaway, the wife of William Shakespeare,
00:46but all community spirit has gone since the thugs moved in on the street.
00:51One lady said the problems started when a housing association took over a few properties
00:57which became occupied by drug dealers.
01:01Another described how young children have to walk past a known drug den to get to school.
01:08Armed police raids have also become a weekly occurrence, say the residents.
01:14A spokesperson for Orbit Housing, which owns several properties on the road, said
01:20We do not condone antisocial behaviour in any of our properties
01:24and understand the negative impact these issues have on other residents.
01:28We are working closely with the local authority and police to take appropriate action,
01:33including pursuing legal action for breach of tenancy.
