00:00 So what I have with me today is the all-new MG Hector Blackstorm edition and let's take
00:09 a look at what all comes new on this SUV.
00:13 Welcome to DriveSpark, I'm Vedant Johari and let's jump right into this video.
00:21 What all variants is the MG Hector available in?
00:24 Well, the Hector is available through all seating options, the 5, 6 and the 7-seater
00:28 option.
00:29 Now for the 5-seater and the 7-seater option, the Hector is available in petrol and a diesel
00:34 powertrain with the petrol powertrain being a CVT and a diesel powertrain being linked
00:38 to a manual gearbox.
00:40 Now the 6-seater variant of the Hector is only available in one powertrain option which
00:45 is the diesel manual powertrain option.
00:47 Now what are the prices of the Hector?
00:50 Well, the Blackstorm edition starts at a price of Rs. 13.99 lakhs ex-showroom and the top-end
00:57 variant, the 7-seater goes up to Rs. 22.55 lakhs ex-showroom.
01:02 So now starting off with the front end of the Blackstorm edition.
01:06 So as you can see, we get this brand-new chrome grille, these black chrome inserts surrounding
01:11 the grille, then we still get the same old MG badging with a parking camera right in
01:16 the front.
01:17 Also what we get new is a front skid plate in a chrome finish.
01:20 The side of the MG Blackstorm, what else?
01:23 So first off, as you can see, we get this all-new black finish on the car, black rims,
01:28 black body, black roof rails, everything is in black.
01:31 Now what else is there?
01:33 So starting off with the black alloys, we get brand-new black alloy rims with red calipers
01:38 enhancing the whole sporty aesthetic of the car.
01:41 Then moving on, we get this, the MG badging at the bottom on black cladding which is again
01:48 something new that we see.
01:50 Then we get new roof rails, again in a black finish and that is pretty much it for the
01:55 side view of the car.
01:57 Then we still get the same old chrome finish handlebars, we get the blacked-out finished
02:03 side view mirrors with an integrated indicator.
02:06 Then we also get window shades on the car with the MG badging embossed on it and the
02:11 rear wheel we get is also the new black alloy with red calipers.
02:15 On the Hector, we've seen the spoiler that's there in the other model, so this one again
02:20 comes with the spoiler in the black finish.
02:22 We get this brand-new connecting taillight.
02:25 We also get a backlit MG logo, so when you hit the brakes, the surrounding of the logo
02:29 lights up and at the rear, we also get this new rear skid plate and the Plus variant.
02:35 Let's take a look at what all is new in the interior of the Hector.
02:39 As you can see, on our door panel itself, we get this new blackish-grey finish and then
02:48 just taking a look at the whole of the interior, we get completely blacked-out upholstery,
02:54 except for the top.
02:55 The top, we get in a beige, so this is sort of a dual-tone finish in the interior.
02:59 Then coming to our steering wheel, we get this, the blackish-grey finish on the steering
03:03 wheel, the blackish-grey finish on top of our instrument cluster, a 14-inch infotainment
03:10 system, touchscreen infotainment, we get a blackish-grey centre console and that is pretty
03:15 much what's new on the inside of the car.
