00:00 How much is WWE gonna make from these upcoming overseas premium live events?
00:05 The international expansion of WWE's premium event offerings continues to be a big deal in 2024.
00:12 We already know about the very lucrative and profitable deal that WWE has in Saudi Arabia,
00:17 but they're expanding in Europe with the upcoming Backlash card in France,
00:21 Clash at the Castle in Scotland, and The Bash in Berlin in Germany.
00:25 This follows the record-breaking success of the Money in the Bank card in London in the UK last
00:31 year that brought in $5.4 million. Heck, WWE just sold out a non-televised house show in London,
00:39 16,000 plus tickets sold. As they gear up for these overseas shows, there is more expectation
00:44 for WWE to generate even more ticket sales, buzz, sponsorship, and merchandise sold overseas.
00:51 So it begs the question, is there somewhere on the global map that WWE hasn't gone yet
00:57 that they need to go to more? I say India. A lot of wrestling fans in India. One of the most watched
01:02 places for wrestling in the world is India, and they do feel like an underserved market.
