00:00 Hi friends, welcome back to War of Processors.
00:02 Today we'll be doing Moto Edge 50 Pro vs OnePlus Nord CE 4.
00:06 Both have the same processor, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
00:09 So it'll be fun to see which one is more optimized.
00:11 Along with that, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ vs Realme 12 Pro+
00:15 will reveal if Dimensity 7200 Ultra is better
00:18 or the optimization of Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
00:21 By the way, if you're new to the channel, I'm Hrithik.
00:25 You're watching Gizbot.
00:26 And if you like detailed testing like this, then subscribe.
00:29 And press the bell icon to watch the camera comparison first.
00:33 Now I'll quickly tell you the rules of the testing.
00:35 All the phones are fully charged.
00:36 All of them have their Airplane Mode on.
00:38 And all four are connected to the same WiFi network.
00:40 Also, I've maxed out the brightness of all of them.
00:43 The refresh rate in Motorola is 144Hz.
00:45 But the rest are 120Hz.
00:47 So I've set all of them to 120Hz.
00:49 So that you get a good idea of the battery drop-off.
00:52 By the way, the performance mode is in all four phones.
00:54 But in Motorola, it's only for the app.
00:56 But in all the other phones, it's in Performance Mode.
01:00 So it's worth seeing how Motorola's performance
01:03 is overall compared to the other phones.
01:06 And of course, all four phones are updated to their latest software version.
01:10 We'll do a 2-hour real-life and benchmark testing.
01:15 And tension not, we'll also check the battery drain and heating.
01:18 So let's start with the warm-up.
01:20 Let's run a round of Geekbench first.
01:23 [Geekbench - Geekbench 4]
01:28 Here, Moto Edge 50 Pro has won the round.
01:30 And just 2-3 seconds after that, the Nord CE 4 has won.
01:33 The third number is Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
01:36 And Realme 12 Pro+ has been left far behind in the race.
01:40 Now, looking at the scores, it's clear that
01:43 Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is a little faster than 7S Gen 3
01:46 and Dimensity 7200 Ultra.
01:49 First, let's talk about Redmi Note 13 Pro+ vs Realme 12 Pro+.
01:52 So, Redmi has the lead in single-core.
01:56 But Realme is ahead in multi-core scores.
01:59 If we look at Snapdragon 7 Gen 3,
02:01 the Nord CE 4 is ahead in single-core.
02:04 And Moto Edge 50 Pro is ahead in multi-core scores.
02:07 Anyways, let's talk about temperatures.
02:09 The room is currently 29.7 degrees.
02:11 Redmi is going at 37.
02:13 Realme is at 38.2.
02:15 Moto is at 37.1.
02:17 And the Nord CE 4 is at 37.4.
02:19 This was just a warm-up round.
02:21 We'll give all the phones one more chance.
02:24 Let's see if we'll see an improvement in their scores.
02:27 Which phone will be able to maintain its score?
02:29 Or will we see a drop-off in their scores?
02:32 So, Moto Edge 50 Pro has won the second round.
02:42 But, in the gap of 2-3 seconds,
02:45 the Nord CE 4 has also completed its test.
02:47 After 10 seconds, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has also completed its test.
02:51 And I have to say one thing.
02:53 Dimensity 7200 Ultra is a little faster.
02:56 Realme 12 Pro+ is faster than 7S Gen 2.
02:59 And you can see the difference in speed in the optimization of all three phones.
03:03 Realme is taking extra time to complete its test.
03:07 Anyways, let's talk about scores.
03:09 Moto Edge 50 Pro has won the second round
03:13 and has taken the lead in the second round.
03:15 It has surpassed the Nord CE 4.
03:17 Its processor has also become more open.
03:19 Let's talk about 7200 Ultra vs 7S Gen 2.
03:22 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is still leading in single-core.
03:27 But, Realme 12 Pro+ has taken the lead in multi-core.
03:31 The CPU heating is the coldest here.
03:34 Nord CE 4 is at 40 degrees.
03:36 After that, we have Realme and Moto.
03:39 And we can see a temperature fluctuation in Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
03:43 Sometimes it is 47, sometimes it is 39.
03:46 And now it has touched 52.
03:47 If you look at the batteries, it is a king.
03:51 At least, it is coming in the starting.
03:52 Nord CE 4 has maintained the full battery.
03:56 It is getting the benefit of having extra battery.
03:58 On the second number, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has maintained a good battery.
04:03 And Realme and Moto are sharing the spot on the third place.
04:08 Let's move on to Android 2 benchmarking.
04:10 All four phones will put full effort on CPU, GPU, memory management.
04:15 And let's see who has the best performance in all these things.
04:19 So, the test has been completed first.
04:27 Nord CE 4 and then Redmi Note 13 Pro+
04:30 And after almost 20-25 seconds, it has been completed in Moto Edge 50 Pro.
04:35 And after almost 1 minute of Moto Edge 50 Pro, Realme 12 Pro+ has completed its test.
04:40 And there are a lot of surprising scores here.
04:42 But let's test the temperatures first.
04:44 The room is 29.4.
04:46 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is going 40.3, 40.4.
04:49 Realme 12 Pro+ is at 43.6.
04:52 Moto Edge 50 Pro is at 41.1.
04:54 And Nord CE 4 was touching 41.
04:57 Now, if we see, Moto Edge 50 Pro has performed quite well in the first round.
05:02 But Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has gone ahead in terms of Dimensity 7200 Ultra overall scores.
05:09 The surprising thing is that in terms of CPU and GPU,
05:14 Moto Edge 50 Pro is slightly ahead in terms of performance.
05:17 But in terms of memory management, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is quite ahead.
05:21 If we talk about Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro+
05:25 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is ahead in all the aspects except for memory management.
05:30 Which is slightly better than Realme 12 Pro+.
05:33 And in terms of overall scores, the best one is Nord CE 4.
05:40 Both of these phones have Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
05:43 If we draw a comparison, it's better.
05:46 In terms of synthetic benchmarks, we'll also test real-life video editing.
05:50 But for now, Nord CE 4 is ahead.
05:53 But let's give one more chance to all four phones.
05:56 Let's see if they can maintain their scores.
05:58 And let's see if we can see an improvement in Moto Edge 50 Pro.
06:03 Will it be able to go ahead in terms of Redmi Note 13 Pro+
06:06 or will it be even better than Nord CE 4
06:09 which has the same processor, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
06:12 So, here, in the second round, Nord CE 4 has won again.
06:22 And the same result, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has completed in the second round.
06:26 Almost after 1-2 seconds.
06:27 Here, Moto Edge 50 Pro has also completed its test.
06:30 It took a little extra time here.
06:32 And this time, Realme 12 Pro+ has completed its test last.
06:37 Now, again, there are some surprising results.
06:39 But first, let's check the temperatures.
06:41 The room is 30.1 degrees.
06:43 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is going at 40.8 degrees.
06:45 Realme 12 Pro+ is going at 44.2, 44.3.
06:49 Moto Edge 50 Pro is at 41.4 and Nord CE 4 is at 41.3.
06:54 The temperatures are almost the same for all the phones.
06:58 Now, let's talk about the surprising thing.
07:00 So, here, look at the scores carefully.
07:03 Moto Edge 50 Pro has dropped a lot.
07:06 In the first round, it was behind Redmi Note 13 Pro+
07:09 but now it has come behind Realme 12 Pro+.
07:13 And Nord CE 4 is going ahead in the lead.
07:16 But here, we saw a lot of drop-off in the score of Nord CE 4.
07:21 And along with that, what can we say about Moto Edge 50 Pro?
07:24 We have to praise Redmi Note 13 Pro+ a little here
07:27 because it has maintained its score to a great extent.
07:31 And even though Realme's score was less,
07:34 it has maintained its score.
07:36 Overall, the difference between Realme and Moto in the scores,
07:40 although the main final score is a little less,
07:42 but the difference is in terms of GPU and memory management.
07:47 Moto Edge 50 Pro is ahead in terms of GPU,
07:50 but Realme 12 Pro+ has taken the lead in terms of memory management.
07:54 And if we talk about the battery,
07:56 then Nord CE 4 has maintained its lead with 91%.
08:01 The second number is Redmi Note 13 Pro+ with 87%.
08:05 After that is Moto Edge 50 Pro,
08:07 even though it has a 4500mAh battery.
08:09 It is ahead of Realme 12 Pro+ which has 81%.
08:12 Now, it's been more than an hour since we started testing.
08:16 Let's give all the phones a little cool-off time
08:19 so that they get a little cool, get a chance to rest,
08:22 and then we'll start testing again.
08:25 So, the cool-off time is complete here.
08:33 All four phones have got a chance to cool down.
08:36 And here you can see that all the phones
08:39 are running at almost 34-35 degrees.
08:42 They have cooled down completely.
08:44 Let's go straight to our GPU testing.
08:46 This will tell us that when you play games for a long time,
08:49 which phone will be the most stable for gaming
08:52 and what is the frame rate, frame drop
08:54 of all the four phones.
08:56 So, the test is complete here.
09:09 We'll first look at the temperatures of all four phones.
09:12 The room is 29.4.
09:13 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is going at 40.3.
09:16 Realme 12 Pro+ is at 42.1.
09:18 Moto Edge 50 Pro is at 41.2.
09:20 And Nord CE 4 is at 42.9.
09:22 Now, the amazing thing here is that
09:25 both Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro+
09:28 have come out to be the most stable.
09:31 Both the phones with Snapdragon 7th Gen 3,
09:34 Moto Edge 50 Pro and Nord CE 4,
09:37 they were seen to have very low stability,
09:39 especially in Nord CE 4.
09:42 Now, in Realme 12 Pro+, the stability is quite good,
09:45 but the best loop score is not that good.
09:48 So, when you're gaming, you'll have to keep the frame rate low
09:51 to get stable gameplay.
09:52 The best loop score of Redmi Note 13 Pro+
09:54 is not the best here.
09:56 It's behind the other two phones
09:59 in which you can play on better graphics.
10:01 But, the better graphics won't be that good
10:04 because you'll see less stability here,
10:07 even if you increase the frame rate and graphics.
10:09 So, in both these phones, you'll have to either
10:10 lower the frame rate or the graphics quality.
10:13 But, in Redmi Note 13 Pro+,
10:15 there are a lot of chances that you'll see better gameplay
10:18 on similar graphics settings and FPS.
10:21 Anyway, the GPU testing is done.
10:23 Now, let's go for the CPU testing.
10:25 We'll put full load on the CPU of all four phones
10:27 for a total of 15 minutes.
10:29 Let's see whose CPU performs best in terms of stability.
10:34 [Music]
10:39 Now, the CPU test is complete.
10:41 Realme has made a mountain out of a molehill.
10:44 But, let's check the temperature first.
10:45 The room is 30.3 degrees.
10:47 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is 41.
10:49 Realme 12 Pro+ is 42.6.
10:51 It's a little hot.
10:52 Moto Edge 50 Pro is 41.7.
10:54 And, Nord CE 4 is 40.5.
10:56 Now, the fun part is that the phones
10:58 that were behind in the GPU testing
10:59 have moved ahead in the CPU testing.
11:01 Throttling was the least visible in both these phones.
11:04 And, in terms of throttling,
11:05 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was slightly behind.
11:07 But, if you look at the maximum score,
11:09 Moto Edge 50 Pro has given the best score.
11:12 Now, it's a little confusing
11:14 because sometimes Moto Edge 50 Pro performs well
11:16 and sometimes it doesn't.
11:18 But, everything will be revealed in the real-life video editing test.
11:21 By the way, the previous test I did of Nord CE 4,
11:23 I think I performed a little better in comparison to that.
11:27 You can go and check that video.
11:29 I'll give the link in the 'i' button above.
11:30 In that video, I compared Nord CE 4
11:33 with the Nothing Phone 2a, Poco X6 Pro,
11:35 and Realme 12 Pro with its younger brother.
11:38 If we talk about Realme 12 Pro,
11:40 one thing is clear here
11:43 that the stability is not that good.
11:45 Looking at the maximum score,
11:46 you'll think that it has performed well.
11:48 But, it was quite throttling in this.
11:51 Because of which, its average score was less.
11:53 And, if we compare it with Redmi Note 13 Pro+,
11:56 then the average score and maximum score
11:58 of Redmi is less.
11:59 But, you get better stability here.
12:02 Anyway, CPU testing is done, GPU testing is done.
12:04 Let's move to our final test
12:06 which is the real-life video editing test.
12:08 I've imported the same video in all the phones.
12:11 I've put the same filter on all of them.
12:13 And, because these are mid-range phones,
12:14 we'll export the video at 1080p 60fps max bitrate.
12:18 Let's see which phone edits the video
12:21 in the fastest real-life video editing test scenario.
12:25 And, don't worry,
12:26 everyone's battery will be checked at the end.
12:28 So, there are quite big margins here.
12:36 Moto Edge 50 Pro has completed the first test.
12:39 And, it has clearly proved one thing
12:42 that benchmarks are not the only thing that's important.
12:44 When you go to use the phone in real life,
12:47 the results can be different.
12:49 And, I'd like to say the same thing
12:52 for Realme 12 Pro+.
12:54 It took almost 2.5 minutes
12:56 to complete the test from Moto Edge 50 Pro.
12:58 But, it was lagging behind in its competition
13:02 but in the real-life editing scenario,
13:04 it won the battle.
13:06 And, almost 40-50 seconds later,
13:08 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ has also completed the test.
13:11 But, the last one to finish is the Nord CE 4.
13:14 If you're going to use a VN app,
13:16 the test results will look something like this.
13:19 First, Moto Edge 50 Pro,
13:21 then Realme 12 Pro+,
13:22 then Redmi Note 13 Pro+,
13:24 and then, at the end, Nord CE 4.
13:27 Lastly, if we look at the batteries,
13:28 both the phones that did the fastest video editing
13:31 have the least amount of battery.
13:33 Realme 12 Pro+ has 66%,
13:35 Moto Edge 50 Pro has 68%.
13:38 Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is a little ahead with 71%.
13:41 But, OnePlus Nord CE 4 has a huge lead here.
13:46 It's at 77% after a complete 2-hour testing.
13:50 I tested on two more video editing software.
13:54 In KineMaster, the first was Redmi,
13:56 the second was Realme,
13:57 the third was Moto,
13:58 and here too, Nord CE 4 completed the test.
14:01 And, in these shots,
14:02 the first was Realme, the second was Redmi,
14:04 and the rest, Nord CE 4 and Motorola completed the test together.
14:07 Anyway, you've seen all the testing.
14:09 In terms of performance,
14:11 as such, there was no clear-cut winner.
14:13 But, in terms of battery, there was a winner here.
14:16 If you know, let me know in the comments below.
14:18 By the way, the performance of Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was balanced.
14:21 In the entire testing,
14:21 there was no major drop-off in the benchmarks.
14:24 Although, the CPU temperature fluctuates a little.
14:27 You'll get a good battery backup in this.
14:29 And, it has Gorilla Glass Victus protection
14:32 and an IP68 rating.
14:34 So, if you're looking for a durable phone,
14:35 this could be one of your choices.
14:37 By the way, the durable and IP68 rating is also in the Moto Edge 50 Pro.
14:40 And, in hand-feel-wise,
14:42 this is definitely my favourite phone.
14:44 And, in terms of curved display,
14:45 it feels like its display is popping out.
14:48 It took a good start in the benchmarks.
14:50 It was the best performance in the starting.
14:52 But, in terms of long-duration usage,
14:54 I saw that it has performance hits.
14:57 And, the same thing,
14:58 the consistency is a problem here.
15:00 I can't recommend it separately for gaming and performance.
15:03 But, if multimedia consumption and compact form factor
15:06 are your priorities,
15:08 then it will be a blast.
15:09 Because, it has a DisplayPort USB 3.1 support.
15:12 Plus, it has the fastest charging of 125W.
15:15 But, if we talk about charging,
15:17 the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is undoubtedly the king of battery.
15:21 The extra battery in this,
15:22 it passed with flying colours.
15:24 But, it's the same thing.
15:25 I felt the performance of the Nord CE 4 was underclocked.
15:28 And, here, the Snapdragon 7th Gen 3 is a brand new chipset.
15:31 So, there isn't much optimisation in both these phones.
15:35 But, with time updates,
15:37 there are a lot of chances of improvement.
15:39 By the way, in terms of long-duration usage,
15:40 the optimisation of the Nord CE 4 is better than the Moto Edge 50 Pro.
15:44 Particularly, in terms of consistency.
15:46 If any of you have bought the Nord CE 4,
15:49 then do share your experience in the comments below.
15:51 It will help everyone.
15:52 Now, the Realme 12 Pro Plus is the only phone with a periscope lens.
15:56 The camera is the main strength of this phone.
15:58 But, when it comes to performance,
16:01 then, in that matter, it is absolutely average.
16:04 At least, according to the phones of the price range around us.
16:07 Also, even after having a 5000 mAh battery,
16:10 it has given a backup of 4500 mAh battery of the Moto.
16:14 And, it has the slowest charging among all the four phones.
16:17 But, if you want to see the magic of its camera
16:20 and if you want to see a comparison of cameras with any phone,
16:23 then, tell me in the comments below.
16:25 And, I will meet you in the comments section below.
