00:23Drake took a trip to Gag City but did he respond to Kendrick Lamar's diss track? Let's break it down.
00:31Come on. Let's go.
00:34Drake joined Nicki Minaj on stage during the Toronto stop of the Pink Friday 2 World Tour just hours after Kendrick Lamar dropped Euphoria, which took aim at Drizzy.
00:51While the Toronto native didn't address the track on stage, fans think he may have been responding to it on his IG story.
01:01He posted the iconic Julia Stiles monologue from 10 Things I Hate About You with a broken heart and a winky face.
01:12If those two are related, looks like he's not taking the diss track too seriously.
01:16Everyone's waiting to see if Drake responds lyrically. His last diss track, Push-Ups, debuted at number 2 on the Hot R&B Hip-Hop Songs chart.
01:30Kendrick's OG diss track with Metro Boomin and Future Like That spent 3 weeks at number 1 on the Hot 100.
01:43Proving this beef is the feud that keeps on giving.
01:46I had the pleasure of seeing the best vocalist of all time and I'm taking you along for the ride.
02:01And address the lamb she did. It was a celebration of Mimi in Las Vegas over the weekend that we will never be over.
02:09We take you there in Billboard All Access.
02:22We surely won't be forgetting the night of festive moments, darling. That was Mariah serving vocals.
02:31And classics.
02:44And of course, themed cocktails we had to enjoy.
02:47But the night was all about Mimi and celebrating her Emancipation of Mimi album with hits like Shake It Off.
03:01And fan-favorite Circles' I Was Deceased.
03:14She closed with Fly Like a Bird.
03:19The celebration of Mimi has been extended at Park MGM with new shows from July 26th to August 10th.
03:34On to my girl Shinsea. I had so much fun catching up and talking new music.
03:39I'm excited. It's my second project. So a little bit nervous.
03:44I'm excited. It's my second project. So a little bit nervous.
03:48But, you know, because, you know, you set a tone with the first one and you should always try to beat the first one.
03:53So it's a little bit pressuring, but I'm still excited and just going with it nonetheless.
03:57Well, let's talk about the title first. Never Gets Late Here. What is that referencing?
04:00It means to me timeless music. You can put on this album and it just never gets old.
04:06You know, it's pretty deep and I love timeless music.
04:09That's the type of music that I grew up on and that's the type of music I think that lasts.
04:13And it really inspires great artists to come. And I want to be able to do that as well because I've been inspired by many great artists.
04:19I want to represent in a way where it's still Shinsea. I'm keeping it authentic, but you don't get bored.
04:25It's not the same thing as you've heard on Alpha.
04:27So it's been pretty challenging because I've done so many songs just trying to figure out the right pitch and the right vibe and the right tone of what I want to set next.
04:37And so it has just been a lot on my mental health.
04:40I've been just changing over and over, doing different, different vibes and not sticking with, you know, I make a decision today and change it tomorrow.
04:49So it has been pretty challenging where that has been concerned. But, you know, I'm more confident now.
04:54I have more chutzpah. It's here. So let's hope for the best now.
04:58For the full interview, head to Billboard's YouTube page.
05:01The boys have been hyping through the first pitch for the Seattle Mariners and we had them in studio to talk all about it.
05:08He really likes baseball and he practiced a lot.
05:15The boys have been hyping through the first pitch for the Seattle Mariners and we had them in studio to talk all about it.
05:21So, Nicky, you're also going to be going to Seattle to hang out with Jaehee Song to throw the pitch at the game.
05:26So tell me, fellas, about that.
05:27Yeah, actually, Seattle is my hometown.
05:30What?
05:31Yeah, actually, my home and my hometown is Seattle.
05:35But I was born in the St. Clair Hospital, which is in Tacoma.
05:39And also my mother graduated the university in Tacoma.
05:43So it really means a lot, a lot of me.
05:46My family was a crazy fan of Mariners.
05:48And also I was born to be there.
05:51Yeah, it feels so honorable, honor and such glory for me.
05:55So also my family is coming for me, too.
05:58Oh, that is super cool.
06:01And I don't know if you guys have actually played baseball, though.
06:04Is anybody nervous to throw the pitch?
06:06You got it?
06:07Actually, he really loves baseball.
06:09Yeah, he really likes baseball and he practiced a lot before we came.
06:15A little bit.
06:16Great job, fellas.
06:18More with ENHYPEN coming soon.
06:20Moving on to McKenna Grace, when she's not busy on set or on the big screen, she's in the studio making bops.
06:27I was surprised at how much my team really liked the song.
06:30I kind of did the song as it's not like anything I've really done before.
06:35I usually don't go as pop or upbeat as this is.
06:39So it was just kind of random and surprising how much everybody gravitated towards it.
06:45And I was like, OK, I love this, too.
06:47Sure, let's give it a shot.
06:49I think that it's fun and it's nice to have some levity.
06:53More with McKenna Grace on Friday.
06:56That's today's show.
06:57Come back tomorrow to see who's killing it on TikTok and we break down Dua Lipa's many hits.
07:02I'm Tetris Kelly and this is Billboard News.
