The film follows novelist and suspected serial killer Catherine Tramell (Sharon), who is once again in trouble with the authorities, this time in London. Now Scotland Yard (Greater London's Metropolitan Police Service) appoints psychiatrist Dr. Michael Glass (David) to evaluate her. As with SFPD Detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) in the first film, Dr. Glass becomes a victim of Tramell's psychological manipulation, being entranced by her seductive and manipulative nature.
Catherine Tramell becomes the suspect when her boyfriend is found murdered. Psychoanalyst Dr. Michael Glass examines her, but with every session, he is entranced by her seductive and manipulative nature.
