00:00the chapter that's all about lots of different people you met but
00:03Sacha Baron Cohen is one of them. Yeah I noticed the media tends to pick up on
00:08that chapter which is just a small part. It is a small part but it's created
00:12quite a lot of controversy. Yeah. The chapter's redacted over here as
00:17well. Yeah I think there's about a page and a
00:19half that is redacted which I mean all I would read into that is
00:24you know someone who's expressed that they're litigious
00:28and sometimes the way the defamation laws are, me being
00:31legally trained. You're a lawyer. I know quite a lot about this.
00:34You know somebody with some wealth and power
00:38can sometimes use the laws to their advantage and you know
00:41and so that's just the book publisher mitigating their risk.
00:45He said he denied all the claims that are made in the book, putting full
00:48suits against the law in the UK and Australia. It's not a peculiarity as
00:51you've described the fact it's redacted here in
00:53Australia. It's a legal principle that existed for many hundreds of years.
00:56It's a clear victory for Sacha Baron Cohen and confirms what we've said from the
00:59beginning that it's demonstrably false and a shameful and failed effort to sell
01:02books. Well okay that's interesting but
01:04obviously this is a story that I've told since
01:07it happened about 10 years ago and I mean whatever, it's his right to
01:11say whatever he wants and I'm not about
01:14cancelling people. I'm about sharing my story and that
01:17happened to be the worst experience of my career
01:20and I'm sharing it in the hopes that you know that kind of stuff happens less
01:24in the industry and I've learned definitely firsthand
01:28it is very hard to speak up against somebody in
01:32in the public eye and so I really respect people that do
01:35do come out and say stuff because I have learned firsthand like how hard it can
01:39be. And all these moments in the book, no matter how difficult or hard they
01:42were, inform where you are now. Correct. Yeah exactly and I guess why I
01:46wanted to write about that experience because
01:48it did happen 10 years ago. If I was the woman I am now
01:53I would have left that set, I wouldn't have continued.
