00:00 The Supreme Court's deliberation will continue until the three petitions in the PUV Modernization Program.
00:09 Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has already received the request of the Department of Justice to transfer the case of Pastor Apollo Quibuloy
00:18 from Davao to Metro Manila.
00:20 Louisa Erispe is in the center of the news.
00:24 Louisa?
00:25 Audrey, the Supreme Court has explained their process to the big cases that were heard.
00:32 One of them is the PUV Modernization Program, where ST spokesperson Atty. Camille Ting said,
00:40 the court is still under deliberations.
00:44 Despite the three petitions, the transfer group requested a temporary restraining order for the program.
00:50 The ST has not yet released any details if they will issue a decision.
00:55 Atty. Ting also said that even if the TRO issues a decision, the court can still implement it even if the deadline is over and the visa will not be removed.
01:09 For now, there is no TRO so it will continue.
01:13 But if there is a TRO, it just means that what they prayed for in their petition for TRO, if granted, it will be granted as of the day the TRO was granted.
01:26 Audrey, like what the Supreme Court said, they are already in the writing period, not in the said petitions.
01:35 There are instances when the justice in charge will make some recommendations.
01:41 A recommended action and either the chair of the division or the chief justice in the case of the NBank, they can approve the recommended action of the justice in charge and the Supreme Court can issue a resolution.
01:55 In addition to the TUVMP, Atty. Ting also said that they got the request of the Justice Department to transfer the case of Pastor Apollo Quibuloy from Davao to the court here in Metro Manila.
02:10 Atty. Ting said that the court administrator already has a recommendation here, but they are just waiting for a resolution.
02:17 The Supreme Court received the recommendation of the office of the court administrator regarding this.
02:23 So it's still under deliberation and we just have to wait for the resolution.
02:27 The Supreme Court said that it will not affect the case of the so-called pastor and that it will only affect the venue.
02:35 It will not influence any procedure and decision of the court.
02:39 That is the latest. Go back to you, Audrey.
02:42 Thank you very much, Louisa Erispe.
