00:00 The Department of Trade and Industry launched their strategic plan to increase the consumption of halal products by Filipinos.
00:09 This also provides a way to expand the domestic market of halal products.
00:17 Currently, more than 300 products and services are certified as halal in the country.
00:24 Our objective is to bring investment here and also to generate increased number of export and import.
00:33 That will benefit our relationship not just with the local economy but also with our neighboring countries in ASEAN.
