00:00 Finally, after what feels like ages, the curse of Liam always going back and forth between
00:04 Stuffy and Hope is broken. Spoiler alert, he kissed someone new, and this might change
00:09 everything. So, if you want to know, make sure you stick around till the end.
00:19 It's no news when we say Liam aka the Waffle King just gets on your nerves sometimes when
00:23 it comes to his love life. We loved it and hated it. I mean, in a world with 7 billion
00:29 people, how does he always end up bouncing back and forth between Hope and Stuffy? It's
00:33 like he's playing some twisted game of relationship ping pong. Remember when he caught Hope smooching
00:38 with Thomas? Instead of sorting things out like a normal person, what does he do? He
00:43 runs back to Stuffy, who's already with Finn, and plants a kiss on her, not once, but twice.
00:48 Honestly, we're all waiting for someone to just shake some sense into him. And it's not
00:53 just us who feels that way because the actor behind Liam, Scott Clifton, is totally with
00:57 us too. From day one, Scott thought Liam's flip-flopping was kind of gross. I mean, who
01:03 wouldn't, right? Like, seriously, it's been like a never-ending merry-go-round with this
01:08 guy. Scott even jokes that Liam's character is so separate from him that the first line
01:12 on his Wikipedia page is about how he's not Liam in real life. But Liam's always had this
01:17 uncanny ability to dodge consequences for his bad decisions. In an interview with Soaps.com,
01:22 he said, "The guy keeps getting rewarded for bad behavior by somebody either forgiving him
01:26 or giving him another chance or he just moves on to the next person who he hasn't hurt in
01:30 long enough time that now suddenly they forget everything that he did to them."
01:34 But now, the tables have turned. Liam's struck out, big time. He's been left high and dry
01:40 by both Hope and Stuffy, and he's flying solo. And Scott? Well, he's loving every minute
01:46 of it. There's this one scene that really hit home for Scott, where Liam questions if
01:50 he's the kind of guy he'd want his daughters to end up with. Spoiler alert, the answer
01:54 is a resounding hell no. And when Lawrence St. Victor, who plays Carter, wrote that scene,
02:00 Scott practically tackled him with gratitude. He's always telling Lawrence, "Man, you get
02:04 my character sometimes better than I do."
02:06 Now let's talk about redemption. Soaps have a knack for turning even the most villainous
02:11 characters into saints, but it's a tough road for Liam. I mean, he's not quite there yet,
02:16 but this period of self-reflection is a step in the right direction. And to end this love
02:20 triangle for, I don't know how long, the show just brought in someone else, and it's Ashley
02:25 Brewer, with her character Ivy Forrester, who was once his wife for like five-five minutes.
02:30 Forget about trying to reignite things with Stuffy or Hope, that ship has sailed. Ivy's
02:34 arrival is a total game-changer, and it's already stirring the pot in all the best ways.
02:40 According to B&B spoilers of April 30th, Ivy and Liam were catching up with each other
02:43 at the Il Giordino, and one thing led to another, and Ivy leaned in kissing Liam, while Stuffy
02:48 walked and write at that time, seeing the whole thing. And just like that, Liam is back
02:52 in the game again, but this time with Ivy. So how intense is it going to get this time,
02:57 you ask? Well, according to Brewer, she said, "I don't want to give too much away, but what
03:02 I can say is that Ivy is back and on a mission. She knows what she wants, and she is back
03:06 to map a plan." With Liam back in the picture, thanks to that steamy kiss, it seems like
03:11 Ivy's timing couldn't be more perfect. And you know what? She's not the only one feeling
03:17 it. Liam's been singing Ivy's praises, saying he should have held on to her tight. Looks
03:21 like he's regretting letting her slip away. What makes Ivy unique with respect to Liam
03:26 is that she has this sort of singular experience of him. She's only seen the good side, not
03:31 the side that Stuffy and Hope have seen so much of.
03:33 "So Ivy knows a different Liam than everybody else on the canvas," said Clifton. But Liam's
03:38 exes, Stuffy and Hope, aren't exactly thrilled about Ivy's return. They've already sworn
03:43 off Liam, but seeing someone else making moves on their turf? That's a whole new level of
03:48 drama. And let's not forget about the history between Ivy and the ladies. She's got a knack
03:53 for ruffling feathers, especially with Hope. Those two have clashed before, and it looks
03:58 like history might repeat itself. Even Brewer teased it, saying, "There's nothing more fun
04:02 to watch than two self-proclaimed good girls fight for the crown."
04:05 Plus, Ivy and Stuffy? Let's just say their relationship is... complicated. According
04:11 to Brewer, they know exactly how to push each other's buttons, and trust me, sparks are
04:15 gonna fly. They're blood relatives, so they're quick to forgive, but they're definitely not
04:20 quick to forget. And on that we agree. So, is Ivy's kiss going to make the girls rush
04:25 back to Liam, or will Liam finally find the one that got away? That is Ivy, of course.
