00:00I was actually in the pharmacy at the time when the water was rising and he told my girl it was

00:06up about two or three feet on our front floor.

00:10She had the mindset fortunately to lift some of our computers and servers

00:13in lower areas to ensure that when we were able to get back up and running,

00:18knowing that we were going to get hit, we had not settled prior to that the insurance claim

00:24and one of my first pieces that Mom handed over to me was to make sure that I could

00:28uh impact more authority and I guess speed into us trying to get that claim completed.

00:38As a positive, the insurance company did provide dehumidifiers. In the time frames

00:44some of the challenges really came to the hydrologist reports, the amount of time it took

00:50to get that done, not only the actual visit from the hydrologist to complete but the actual

00:55several months space. So seven months after the flight was when I came into the business

01:01and we still didn't see a hydrologist report but we were asking questions of the third party

01:07which were not being relayed back to the actual insurer and questions weren't being

01:12brought back so there wasn't a clear separation between what the third party was going to be

01:18responsible for. In a small town I had just above 200 units.

01:24I'd been in the business for several years. When the flood happened I was there that night

01:29and definitely witnessed how it all happened and water coming through and people from the town

01:36helping so it was quite traumatic to see and have people falling away from saving my business so

01:44that was quite traumatic for me. When she says she relies on the community like community helped her

01:51get back to it. This is regional and rural Australia. This is regional and rural Australia

01:55supporting their resilient town members however she has paid premiums. She's paid for her insurance.

02:04She should be entitled to what she has paid for and it shouldn't be regional and rural

02:09Australia coming together to pick up the town.
