Pendant des décennies, Les Sparks Brothers, Ron et Russell Mael, ont réussi à bluffer la scène pop par leur son baroque et totalement inventif. Pas forcément hyper connu du grand public, le groupe a démarré sa carrière à la fin des années 1960 dans l'univers pop-rock avant d'évoluer vers le glam rock, la synthpop et la new wave.
