00:00So, Craig, I want to ask you the question from this perspective.

00:06What is the bigger story in your mind?

00:08The Yankees looking to pull off the sweep and get their AL best 26th win of the year

00:13or the Astros potentially falling to 13 games below 500 if they are not victorious tonight

00:20in the Bronx.

00:21Yeah, I think it's fair to say that the Yankees have overachieved and maybe for some that's

00:27not the case.

00:28But generally speaking, you're always going to think the Yankees are good.

00:31The odds makers are always going to make them favorites to win divisions, win pennants and

00:36win World Series or close to it.

00:38You know, but I don't think that that is the big story here, although they've performed

00:42probably six, seven games above where they're supposed to be right now.

00:46The story is definitely the fact that we have to wonder at this point as we're closing in

00:51on Memorial Day, whether or not the Astros simply their reign is over in the American

00:56League.

00:57And I think it's still too early to say that because the seven, eight game winning streak

01:00puts them right back in.

01:01As I've said before, all that team needs to do is get to the postseason.

01:05And then historically, they'll have Frambois Valdez and Verlander and the kid who's pitching

01:08today.

01:09Blanco has been really good, too.

01:11But we're getting close to that time where you sort of have to wonder.

01:15And as we talked about previously on the show, I mean, Jose Altuve is doing his job, but

01:19there are a lot of others who are not.

01:21I mean, Abreu is in the minor leagues.

01:23My guy, Alex Bregman, he's a free agent at the end of the season.

01:25I thought he'd be an MVP candidate because that's, you know, the kind of makeup that

01:29this guy has.

01:30A plus.

01:31But it hasn't worked out for him.

01:32Peña hasn't been as good as he was a couple of years ago.

01:36And just simply put, the juice is kind of gone, it looks like for them.

01:40I mean, is it fair to say Dusty Baker meant that much to this team?

01:43I don't know.

01:44But right now, there's no other finger to point at this point.
