Transcript
00:00 So we're in the pit here for Bruce Springsteen, first Belfast concert for 11 years.
00:05 I first heard Bruce in 1993 in Dublin.
00:08 Since then I've heard him all over the world, New York City, Washington DC, Oslo, Amsterdam, many times in Dublin.
00:16 I think this is well north of maybe 21, 22 times I've been at a show.
00:21 It's always absolutely incredible to be in the pit right at the front to watch the band.
00:26 And you didn't have to pay for this prime position, you just queued for it?
00:30 No, you just turn up early.
00:31 And what time were you here at?
00:32 I was here about lunchtime. Some people started queuing yesterday morning.
00:35 And you haven't met Bruce, have you?
00:37 No, but I've been quite close to him at concerts like this.
00:39 What was the best one of them all?
00:41 I think one of the most memorable was at the King's Hall many years ago when he did a solo concert touring the album Ghost of Tom Jode.
00:49 And we managed to get seats in the very front row, which was pretty special.
00:53 We were sitting beside the band U2, except we didn't know it at the time.
