00:03 It's right behind me, it's the City Hall where I've seen many fine musicians.
00:07 Is that how you like it because you've seen so many artists there?
00:12 Well architecturally it's very good and inside it's very good
00:15 and I've had some great times there over the last 30 or 40 years.
00:18 Tell me what your favourite Sheffield landmark is please.
00:22 Yeah, Sheffield Cathedral.
00:24 What do you like about it?
00:26 Yeah, well it's just a great building being there in the middle of all the modernity
00:31 and it's character, it's solid, it's dependable.
00:36 Can you tell me please what your favourite landmark is in Sheffield?
00:40 I'd probably say either the Peace Gardens or the Botanical Gardens
00:50 just because I think it, especially when now the weather's like this and it's not
00:54 you know cold and dreary anymore, it's just a lovely place to go to like
00:57 get some sun, do some like reading, like chill out with like loved ones and everything.
01:03 And they're just beautiful spots as well,
01:04 especially the Botanical Gardens once it gets like this, it's just beautiful.
01:07 Tell me please what your favourite building is in Sheffield?
01:11 Well it used to be Cole Brothers, that's my favourite.
01:14 The building's still there isn't it?
01:16 Yes that's it, it's just unfortunately shut down.
01:18 What do you like about the building itself?
01:22 It just brings back memories, brings back memories and we once went on holiday and we met the people
01:28 we met on holiday actually in Cole Brothers so it's just that and also like I say it's one of
01:34 the better shops.
01:35 What's your favourite Sheffield landmark?
01:37 I think it has to be Western Park and the Western Park Museum.
01:42 What do you like about it?
01:46 I love, because I'm a garden person, I love the care that they take of the
01:51 parkland, I think it's brilliant they're always there weeding and cutting and so yeah it's always
01:58 lovely to be there and we've...
02:00 Tell me please what your favourite Sheffield landmark is?
02:03 I suppose favourite landmark as far as me personally is the Crucible Theatre because
02:10 I like my snooker, I've been four or five times this year
02:14 and so when they talk about possibly moving it from Sheffield abroad
02:19 and I mean obviously the Crucible is far more than just the snooker
02:24 but it's the part of the Crucible that I like.
02:26 I do go to plays and musicals there as well,
02:29 Saw Life at Pye, brilliant so yeah the Crucible I would say is my favourite landmark.
02:34 Can you tell me please what your favourite Sheffield landmark is please?
02:37 I like the Manitou Castle.
02:40 What do you like about that?
02:42 I like that it reminds me of like the old ruins from like I grew up in Zanzibar,
02:47 they tell more history I feel like there's more authentic history to be told there and
02:52 I want to know more about it it always makes me like I wonder what's there and an amphitheatre
02:58 you know behind the train station I like that I wonder what went there once.
03:02 Yeah.
