00:10 Femenina. This is the 10th edition of this race and we are opening with a team time trial

00:16 once again. Team Visma-Lisabike who have taken that fastest

00:28 time spot there. Oh no, we've got a disaster. We've got a crash on that finish bend. We

00:35 have a rider down. They have taken the fastest time despite a crash. So UAE Team ADQ going

00:45 for this Queen of the Mountains jersey, taking maximum points on the line. Big crash in the

00:55 front. Number of riders down there. Alison Jackson goes for it. Alison Jackson sprints

01:02 our Canadian national champion in that red jersey. Wow. What a finale we've had to this

01:07 stage. To have a win is another great thing to put on the resume. What a day out for Maria

01:22 Juanito. She has been so close. 118 kilometers to go. She had over five minutes at one point.

01:30 And this is it. Liana Lippert on the front. Wow, wow, wow. What a victory for Vos. Mariana

01:42 Vos comes out in that green jersey ahead of Blanca Vásquez. That does put Mariana Vos

01:47 in the virtual red leaders jersey. Kristin Faulkner, who now goes on the attack. And

01:54 the crowd are going wild. Kristin Faulkner comes through for the victory for EF Education

01:59 Cannondale. We came to try and win some stages and we've already won two. So I think, you

02:10 know, it's early in the Vuelta and we're already so excited and so proud of what we've accomplished

02:14 so far. And our red jersey is going to be presented to the greatest of all time herself,

02:23 Mariana Vos. I can see Alison Jackson there. I can see Mariana Vos. Oh, no, bad, bad crash

02:40 here. This looks like Gaia Rialini is down. So glad to see Rialini able to get back up,

02:45 get back on that bike. Demi Vollering is on the front. 1.9 kilometers to go and she's

02:51 just turning the screw. Now a gap has opened up from Vollering to Alissa Longa Borghini.

02:58 Vollering going solo to this victory. Stage five, La Vuelta Femenina. Vollering has gone

03:04 solo. Vollering has done it. The win, it took long for me this year for my feeling, but

03:11 I'm really happy that I could do it here. The leader's jersey is, of course, a really

03:17 pretty one and I hope I can keep it till the very end. Demi Vollering, the red jersey wearer,

03:23 is on the front. Now Vollering goes clear. On the wheel is Evita Muzik. Muzik makes her

03:30 move. Now Evita Muzik unleashing her sprint in the final few meters now for FDG Suez.

03:36 Evita Muzik takes the win, beating red jersey Demi Vollering. I was not 100% sure that I

03:42 can do it and I really want one big victory and now I have. I'm very proud of what I have

03:49 done. You can see all the damage that has been done behind on these narrow roads in

04:02 the crosswind. And green jersey, Marianna Vos is waiting to make her move. Volkner on

04:09 the front, but now Marianna Vos goes. Marianna Vos powering away to the finish. Last few

04:14 meters to go and she has plenty of time to celebrate. All problem here for Nia Fisher-Black.

04:35 on, fight yourself to death. Carline Svinkels with an attack. What an attempt to defend

04:40 that Queen of the Mountains jersey. Not meant to be today. But now it is a move from Demi

04:48 Vollering in the red jersey. The overall race leader makes her move. Demi Vollering powers

04:54 away to the finish. The finish road ramping up here for the final few hundred meters.

05:00 And still as she goes zigzagging over the red, acknowledging the fans there. And she

05:04 is delighted. She has done it, making amends for last year. Demi Vollering has taken La

05:10 Fibata Femarina 2024. I'm really happy to win this stage because it's really nice to

05:19 finish it off like this. I mean, we did a really good tour here, some podiums and two

05:25 stage wins. So I think we can be very proud on our shelves.
