00:00 The target of the Department of Social Welfare and Development is the full implementation of the food stamp program in the country by July.
00:08 According to DSWD Undersecretary Edo Punay, this plan is to be implemented in 21 provinces in 10 regions and has an initial target of 300,000 families.
00:19 The agency is also preparing for this, including hiring 1,000 validators in implementation sites.
00:28 The pilot testing of the program started last December and this month, a review and assessment will be conducted on its effect on the 3,000 beneficiaries.
