00:00 The first thing I heard was that people in the village were getting this leaflet,
00:05 but we haven't had any communication officially as a parish council. Fury. I mean not again
00:13 because we spent an awful lot of time and effort five years ago and we were happy that KCC had
00:20 decided that there was no need for this sand. We appreciate that there's a need for building,
00:26 but they don't need any more of this sort of sand at the moment. We've been through this
00:32 circumstance five years ago and we thought it was settled because there was no requirement
00:36 for the sand, but to hear it again, the whole village and myself, we're incensed by it because
00:42 we don't want to have to go through this again and we certainly don't want any more quarrying
00:45 in the village. This is purely some developers looking to dig a hole and sell the sand on the
00:51 commercial market and we have no funds, we have no backing, financial backing from anywhere,
00:59 but we are prepared to do whatever it takes to stop this unwanted development.
