NASCAR announces in-season tournament for 2025 Cup Series season

NASCAR.com's Kim Coon brings you up to speed on NASCAR's plans for an in-season tournament that will debut on TNT Sports in 2025.

00:00 I'm Kim Kuhn with breaking news from the NASCAR Cup Series Garage.
00:04 NASCAR is launching an in-season tournament airing on TNT Sports in the summer of 2025.
00:11 32 drivers will battle it out in a single-elimination bracket-style competition,
00:17 with the winning driver taking home a $1 million prize.
00:22 Prime Video kicks off the action with three seating races,
00:25 and then this brand new event will highlight the five Cup Series races on TNT Sports.
00:31 Drivers will compete head-to-head with the higher-finishing driver of each race advancing over the five rounds.
00:39 The final driver will be crowned the victor and awarded the $1 million cash bonus.
