00:00 Hi Bobby, so nice to meet you. It's so great to finally be able to speak to you on this carpet. Congratulations on this film.
00:07 I have to ask, what did you first think when you first read this script and when you talked about it with John?
00:12 I thought, oh my gosh, they're going to make a movie that needs to be made. There hasn't been anything like this ever.
00:19 And after seeing it now, I can't believe it. It's like, I feel like it's a movie like E.T., like a movie that people will be talking about for a long time. It's beautiful.
00:28 What was it like working with John as a director? And is this the first time that you two collabed?
00:33 First time we worked together, yeah. We had been friendly before that. We were friends before, but this was our first time working together.
00:42 And he's absolutely wonderful. It stinks how good he is at this. Because he's so fantastic at the office.
00:49 He's so funny and such a good actor. And then it turns out he's also like Steven Spielberg. It's crazy.
00:56 No, it's actually really wild. And I love the whole concept of, of course, imaginary friends. Did you have an imaginary friend growing up?
01:03 I can't believe that I've gotten this far down the line and you're the first person to ask me.
01:08 No way.
01:09 Isn't that crazy? That if I had imaginary friends, I thought that's all I would be doing. But yes, I did. I had two imaginary friends.
01:16 Do you remember names, what they looked like?
01:19 I remember names for Fagabeefy and Ishgabibble. I don't think they looked like anything. Like I think I just had names and talked to people.
01:28 But I also remember me and my friend Maureen found a piece of string with a balloon on it, like bakery string, that red and white string with a broken balloon on it.
01:40 And we carried around for two years and we called it Charlie. So we called it Charlie.
01:44 Okay, so if I had to give a voice to your imaginary friend in real life, who in Hollywood would you pick to voice them?
01:52 Wow, that's a good, Patrick Warburton and Charlotte Raine.
02:00 You think they're like a dynamic duo to voice your childhood?
02:04 The dynamic duo to voice my childhood. Yeah.
02:08 One final question, I know I did have to bring out the tissues at some point.
02:12 It's a tearjerker, right?
02:14 What do you hope that audiences take away from watching this film, and kids especially?
02:18 I hope that audiences go home and talk about how much they love this and how happy it made them.
02:24 And I hope that it makes them want to do stuff together because that's what it made me want to do in my family.
02:30 Thank you so much for stopping by. Thank you so much.
