00:00 More than 100 Chinese POGO workers were deported to their country today.

00:05 They were the ones who were caught in the scam hub in Bambantarlac that was raided last March.

00:13 Rafi Coni, 166 Chinese POGO workers will be deported to their country today.

00:26 They were deported because of various immigration violations.

00:30 The deportees started processing at 4 am.

00:36 They were then transported to IA Terminal 1, where four buses were used.

00:42 The Chinese were then loaded into the airport in plastic handcuffs.

00:47 The deportees worked in the POGO hub in Bambantarlac that was raided.

00:52 According to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission,

00:56 it is a front-line cryptocurrency and love scam.

00:59 Among their violations is being an undesirable alien, undocumented, and overstaying.

01:06 Rafi and I were supposed to be deported at 167.

01:11 Actually, 167 were at the airport earlier.

01:14 But a Chinese woman was not included because information suddenly came out

01:19 that she has a case here in the Philippines.

01:22 When it comes to China, the deportees are accused of Internet fraud and cybercrime and will be jailed.

01:27 That's what POG spokesperson Dr. Winston John Cascio said.

01:31 POG Executive Director Gilbert Cruz said that China is strict on such cases.

01:37 The treatment of deportees is ordinary and not like here in the Philippines,

01:41 where they are seen as victims.

01:43 Before, the Philippines was the answer to deportation.

01:46 Now, China voluntarily paid them.

01:50 This is the third batch of deportees from Bambantarlac.

01:54 Here is the part of the interview with the POG officials.

01:58 Though they were arrested inside a POGO hub in Bambantarlac,

02:04 but mostly what they do is scamming.

02:07 Here, you can see that they are in an air-conditioned unit.

02:12 The food is good for them because our treatment is to be a victim.

02:16 But when it comes to the extortion of Shanghai, they are criminal and jailed.

02:21 There are more than 50 POG workers from Bambantarlac who will be deported.
