00:16the use of e-cigarettes has increased, especially among Filipino youths

00:21who have a 110% increase in the last 4 years.

00:26from 11.7% in 2015 to 24.6% in 2019.

00:33This is due to the emergence of new forms of smoking,

00:37such as the use of electronic nicotine or non-nicotine delivery systems

00:43and heated tobacco products.

00:46Meanwhile, according to the Global Youth Tobacco Survey,

00:4914% or 1 in every 7 students aged 13 to 15

00:55are now using e-cigarettes.
