00:58 the BPSF will be giving out 286 million pesos worth of programs and services from 38 government
01:05 agencies and about 180 million pesos in cash assistance.
01:09 About 30,000 individuals are expected to benefit from the program.

01:20 We are already allocating DSWD dollars for Region 10 and specifically for the city of
01:28 Cagayan de Oro so that we can continue to provide assistance in response to the threats

01:42 However, the National Secretariat, lead organizer of the BPSF, was concerned over several scams
01:49 trying to secure personal information from identification cards and stubs in exchange
01:55 for cash.
01:56 A statement was released by the Presidential Communications Office clarifying that this
02:00 scheme is illegal and that BPSF IDs and registration are all for free.
02:06 Still, the BPSF announced to the public that these offers should never be entertained.

02:16 Second, it does not guarantee you to get financial assistance.
02:22 The DSWD has already identified both provincial, city and regional offices together with their
02:29 partners like the Congressional Office, Office of the Mayor, Office of the Governor.

02:40 The BPSF officials also clarified that all assistance handed out are purely evaluated
02:45 before the program even began and is based on a database of government agencies.
02:51 Meanwhile, aside from the BPSF, the government will also be distributing about 200,000 kilograms

02:58 And President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. himself will be giving out assistance to 10,000 fisher
