00:10 I just want to ask, just to start off, I know that we've kind of teased in the trailer now

00:17 that there will be some mentoring going on this season.

00:20 So if you could each give your characters some advice

00:24 on what's about to go down, what would you tell them?

00:28 I think I would say figure it out and confess how you're feeling before it's too late, bro.

00:36 Younger bro.

00:38 I think don't run before you can walk, girl.

00:42 If you think that you're going to walk into a ball with your new dress

00:46 and immediately find a husband, that is setting your sights a little too high.

00:49 Give yourself a minute to learn to walk in those new shoes.

00:54 That is good advice. Kind of settle into it for a second.

00:58 I did want to ask about the transformation.

01:01 I mean, we get to see so many rom-coms where characters go through that.

01:04 So what was it like for you, Nicola, having your own transformation?

01:07 It was incredible.

01:09 We have an insanely brilliant team behind us that design our beautiful costumes,

01:14 make our wigs, do gorgeous makeup, everything.

01:18 And so you couldn't feel better prepared.

01:20 And I've seen the months of work that have gone into making Penelope's reveal dress,

01:23 if you want to call it that, and also the cloak that had magnets all the way down

01:27 so I could open it and it just flew in a really incredible way.

01:30 But for me personally, as Nicola, it was a nerve-wracking moment

01:34 because I'm super comfortable to be wearing Penelope's crazy yellow dresses and looking mad.

01:41 But then, you know, when the MOs look hot walking down the stairs,

01:46 I'm like, I don't know how to do that.

01:47 But then it was fine because Penelope would also have a lot of insecurity about it.

01:50 So I can just use that in my performance.

01:53 It's so funny when the Q is look hot, you're like, no, no.

01:57 Yeah, I'm Irish. I don't know about that.

01:59 I would be scared as well.

02:02 I'd be like, listen, this is a new world.

02:04 But at least, yeah, at least you did get to go through it with Penelope's.

02:08 That's always nice.

02:08 Yes, yes, yes.

02:09 And Luke, I have to ask, have you seen how much the internet is mad at Colin?

02:14 Do you know how angry everyone is?

02:16 I've experienced it for two years now.

02:21 I am really looking forward to the moment when, I mean,

02:25 hopefully there's a forgiveness moment.

02:27 I mean, yeah, he's a nice boy.

02:30 As is Colin.

02:31 I think we should give him a break.

02:33 I know they're mad, but he feels bad about it.

02:35 We get into it really early on in the season and then it kind of changes,

02:40 changes the vibe between the two of them immediately.

02:43 Yeah, yeah.

02:44 I mean, I'm sorry that the season was taking so long

02:47 because then you just had to endure it longer.

02:49 I mean, I know the poor guy.

02:50 Like, they'll be ready.

02:52 You're outside my room, it's a nightmare.

02:54 And I have to ask, I know we're obviously doing

02:59 friends to lovers this season, but like, is that your favorite trope?

03:04 Or are we more of like an enemies to lovers?

03:06 What do you guys enjoy?

03:07 I think it has to be friends to lovers.

03:09 I think it is my favorite actually.

03:10 I haven't.

03:11 I think we've lived in it, you know, we've really grown up in these characters

03:16 and experienced it from day one.

03:18 So I feel like I'd be wrong of us to favorite any other trope.

03:21 I just think it's the nicest one because I rewatched When Harry Met Sally recently.

03:25 And it's just like, because I think it's a different type of love

03:29 because it's a love when you're truly known,

03:31 which means so much more than, you know, first blushes of love

03:36 or love at first sight, lust, all of that stuff.

03:39 Like true, deep love is people knowing every flaw that you have

03:44 and every good and bad bit and still accepting it and going,

03:47 "I love you because of them."

03:49 Yeah, yeah.

03:50 Oh, that's a fire one.

03:51 I really, I felt it right now.

03:55 Do you have any advice for the viewers that are going to be seeing

04:00 only part one this time around?

04:03 Enjoy the wait because we will be doing fun stuff in the break.

04:09 It's not like it's going to be like episode four comes out

04:12 and then you've got nothing to do.

04:14 No, we're going to, we'll be in places around the world.

04:17 We can't say where, but hopefully we'll be near you

04:20 and you can come and meet us.

04:22 Yeah.

04:22 Absolutely.

04:23 I love that.

04:24 I love that little.

04:25 And just to close off, I mean, can you just talk a little bit

04:30 about what you love about their friendship

04:32 and just how much it means to you both?

04:34 I think it's almost what you said just now is that,

04:37 is how much they know each other.

04:39 And it comes from a place of true friendship.

04:43 And we've said before that they really feel like

04:45 they can be themselves in front of each other.

04:48 And I think that personally, I feel like Colin's favourite version

04:53 of himself is when he's with Penn.

04:55 And I think that's a really special thing in a relationship

04:58 is to feel like yourself, but also feel confident in that.

05:04 And feel like it's the best version of you is really special.

05:09 And that sort of is something that really resonates

05:12 with these two characters.

05:13 Yeah.
