00:41Sonal, welcome to Lehren TV. First of all, tell us what your role is in Jannat Movie.
00:46Well, my character's name is Zoya, and this is a character that every girl can relate to.
00:53I'm sure you will be able to relate to her. I can relate to her to a great extent in a lot of ways.
00:58This is a girl who is a very normal girl, but along with that, when the movie progresses in her character,
01:09we get to see some things that show that she's a very strong girl.
01:13She's not somebody who's very weak.
01:16She's a 21st century Indian girl, and she's very modern in her thinking,
01:27but at the same time, she is somebody who is very strong, very bold.
01:33And when I say bold, I don't mean that I'm taking my clothes off in the film.
01:37When I say bold, I mean that she's very bold in her head. She's very strong-headed.
01:44She's somebody who has a lot of values. She's somebody who will never violate the laws of the country.
01:51She's a responsible citizen, and she's a girl who will never back down from a situation.
02:00We often say that when we fall in love with someone, we become very weak, especially with that person.
02:07And sometimes we even ignore their mistakes, but she's not one of those people.
02:14She's a girl who will probably punish a person she loves a lot if she thinks it's good for his larger interests.
02:27So these are the things that really attracted me towards this character,
02:32and in a way, I've also learned a lot from this character.
02:36It's a great character to play.
02:38In the film, it's been seen that cricket is in the backdrop.
02:41There are a lot of movies being made about sports. What would you say about this?
02:46I think it's a great idea, and especially cricket, because cricket in our country is almost like a religion.
02:51And if we're showing both cricket and a love story in one movie,
02:57I think it's a great deal for the viewers.

03:05I mean, they're getting two for the price of one.
03:08Actually, cricket and Bollywood is something that people like a lot.
03:12Indian audiences like it a lot.
03:14Speaking of Indian audiences, this movie is going to be premiered in Pakistan.
03:18And it's going to be the first movie to be premiered in Pakistan simultaneously.
03:21What's your experience like? Will you be going to Pakistan?
03:24Yeah, we're in fact supposed to leave tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to going to Pakistan.
03:28I think... I mean, I've never been to Pakistan. This is going to be my first time.
03:32Somehow, I've always been curious about Pakistan,
03:38and I wish that I get to see a little bit of Pakistan.
03:44I want to see the culture there.
03:48And I think it's a great idea that our movie is going to be released in Pakistan.
03:53Because it's very important, especially at this point in the country,
03:58that our relations with Pakistan...
04:02A lot of questions are being raised all over the world.
04:05So I think it's a great step that Mr. Bhatt has taken,
04:09and it can help a lot to bring both countries together.
04:15When you got the offer for this movie,
04:17and you found out that Imran Hashmi is working with you,
04:20you've always said that he's a serial kisser and things like that.
04:23And you have some steamy scenes with him in this movie as well.
04:26Well, honestly, when I got the offer for the movie,
04:30I didn't think about the steamy scenes or the kissing scenes.
04:34My main concern was to know what the script is like and what my role is like.
04:37Because, of course, Imran has a tag of being a serial kisser,
04:42so it's okay for people to think about that.
04:45But I just wanted to know what my character is like.
04:49And the moment I heard the script, I was convinced.
04:52And as far as the steamy scenes are concerned,
04:54I really don't know what exactly you're talking about.
04:57Because the promos show that it's not a steamy scene,
04:59it's just a build-up to the lovemaking.
05:01There is no lovemaking scene in the film.
05:03And as far as the other scenes are concerned,
05:06viewers are looking forward to...
05:09I'd rather they go and watch it and decide for themselves.
05:13How was the experience of working with Imran?
05:15Fantastic. Very, very good experience.
05:18They were all very nice to me.
05:20And Imran is a thorough professional.
05:22He never made me feel like a newcomer.
05:25I felt very, very comfortable on the sets.
05:28And it was like one big happy family.
05:33It was a lot of fun to shoot.
05:37Yeah, it was fun. It was a lot of fun.
05:39If we talk about the journey from modelling to acting,
05:42how do you take it? And how was this journey?
05:45The journey so far has been very good.
05:48There have been no problems of any kind.
05:50And honestly, I didn't even know when I started modeling for films.
05:55Because I just love being in front of the still camera.
05:59I still love being in front of the camera.
06:01And I did a lot of ad films.
06:04So it was easier for me to be comfortable in front of the camera.
06:08And I'm so happy that I was a model.
06:10Otherwise, if I had gone in front of the camera for the first time without any experience,
06:15I would have really made a fool out of myself.
06:17So I think it helped me.
06:18I've heard that you liked your acting so much
06:21that you've been signed for your upcoming projects.
06:24I've signed a three movie deal with the Bhats.
06:28And very soon we'll be starting with another project.
06:32And I'm just hoping and I'm waiting for it to start.
06:34Because I can't wait.
06:35I think I'm addicted to acting now.
06:37So I just want to keep doing this.
06:39Let's talk about your dream project.
06:41Have you ever thought about your dream role?
06:43Tell us a little bit about it.
06:46There is so much.
06:48But as of now, if you ask me, I definitely want to do an action film.
06:51Like a full on Kill Bill sort of a role.
