00:00 Working with women who are in prison has been an incredible experience for me.

00:08 It's not something that I had in my background.

00:11 And watching women who really have stopped believing in themselves, stopped seeing their

00:15 own value, and watching them recognize that they do have something to offer, that they

00:20 do have potential, and their life can be positive.

00:24 It's really life-affirming for all of us who work here.

00:28 So our focus here at the Glass House is really getting women ready for employment after prison.

00:35 And so learning customer service, learning how to use the computer, learning how to ship

00:40 and pack our plants that are ordered on our website.

00:42 They even manage the website, some of them.

00:44 I mean, we really let them get involved in all aspects of the business.

00:48 They can do anything.

00:49 And that really gives them a lot of skills and also, more importantly, a lot of confidence

00:54 to prepare themselves for life after prison.
