00:00 Good morning, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Friday May the 17th.
00:05 Just bringing you some of our headlines today. First of all, we have some of our food hygiene
00:12 ratings from the local authority. We've got 15 places that have been visited by inspectors
00:19 and they've been given ratings of between 3 and 5, so pretty good. So you can go and
00:25 have a look at who scored what up on the website today. Then we've also a piece that came from
00:33 the police yesterday. Three people were arrested following a warrant in Collisborough earlier
00:42 in the week. The police found illegal drugs, cash and a number of suspected stolen vehicles
00:50 after a raid at a compound in the village. So you can read all about that also this morning.
00:59 And then finally, some good news. Local and regional leaders have announced that the long-awaited
01:05 bypass between two Doncaster villages could come to fruition with hopes for government
01:11 funding. The plans for the bypass that's between Higgleton and Marr and improved links between
01:18 the nearby A1 and A19 are in development, they say. So we'll keep you updated on that
01:28 as it comes in. And there's been a lot of people campaigning for that for quite some
01:34 time. So for that story, for anything else that's happening in Doncaster today, just
01:40 visit the website www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and I hope you have a great weekend.
