00:00 So Vision Golf is a flagship event. We did it last year for the first time and it was really a success.
00:07 And of course we hope to have a better success for the second edition, so in 2024 in June in Paris.
00:16 We will have, as last year, a top event with keynote speakers, VIP people, networking delegates coming from the GCC and France.
00:31 And for the key sector, we will have three main pillars. The first one is based on diversification, non-petroleum, non-oil and gas sectors such as sustainable energy, tourism, retail, health, sport.
00:50 And from the current edition to the last year, going back to the most prominent achievements that were achieved in the 2023 edition.
01:00 The first edition, it was a real success. We had more than 800 delegates coming from the GCC and from France.
01:11 We organized more than 1,000 B2B meetings with top players, top stakeholders from France and GCC.
01:20 We forged many partnerships, innovative partnerships, commercial partnerships, economic partnerships, financial partnerships.
01:30 And we will have, for this edition in 2024, we expect a signature of key agreements.
01:38 And what about the size of the investments and the most prominent agreements that were signed in the last year?
01:45 It's really difficult to have a precise amount of money because, as you know, as I said, we started the negotiation and then during all the year, we saw things happen.
02:01 But what can I say is that we've got already a big economic relationship with more than 13.7 billion euros of investment from the Gulf in France.
02:17 And we think that this amount is underestimated because it doesn't take account of the indirect financial investment.
02:29 We saw the increase of our trade bilateral relationship. For example, for the UAE in France, it was plus 8% of trade last year.
02:44 And I think that Vision Gulf is part of this success.
02:51 And besides the investment and commercial exchanges, what will be the form of cooperation between France and the Gulf Cooperation Council in the near future?
03:01 You know, we have a very long friendship history.
03:05 We've got, at a political point of view, an extraordinarily excellent relationship based on trust, based on common vision, based on mutual respect.
03:19 For the business, it's going the same way, but I think we can do more, we can do better.
03:26 We share with all the countries of the GCC the same ambition, the ambition of the Vision.
03:32 And this is why we named this flagship event Vision Gulf.
03:40 In France, we've got France 2030 dedicated to a sustainable economy.
03:49 But on the other hand, there are several challenges that could be faced by the development of relations between France and the GCC.
03:57 We are not, France, the only one player. Of course, we know that.
04:00 It's the reason why we want to do more, we want to have more relationships, more commercial, more cross-invest between our two countries.
04:10 We saw that at the beginning of the week with Choose France.
04:15 We had a huge delegation of companies coming from the GCC.
04:20 It was a record this year with PIF, with Mobadala, with Mazda, with Fab, with DP World, with etc., etc., with Kayyé for Qatar, with Invescor from Bahrain.
04:39 So, there is a momentum now to have more and more investment and more and more trade between France and the GCC.
04:51 The momentum is now.
