00:03 The Preakness here is today and it once again will have the eyes of every horse better,
00:10 but also folks that only bet horses three times a year.
00:15 And this would be the second to help us with that is David Aragona.
00:18 David, we talked a little bit on Thursday about this field shrinking right down just to eight.
00:25 Anything that has changed heading into the Preakness for you since we last talked on Thursday?
00:31 Yeah, that horse that was expected to be the favorite, the number four, Muth,
00:34 was withdrawn due to coming up with the temperature when he shipped to Baltimore.
00:38 So it's going to be a field of eight.
00:39 The only thing that really has changed is that the rain that was expected to come has come.
00:44 We now know that to be the case.
00:46 It's going to be a muddy or sloppy track in all likelihood by the time the Preakness is contested later this afternoon.
00:52 So it remains to be seen how some of these contenders actually handle the wet track.
00:56 And I think you could argue the horse that moves up most in this situation might be the Kentucky Derby winner,
01:01 Mystic Dan, because he qualified for the Kentucky Derby, earning his big win prior to that over a sloppy racetrack.
