00:00On the other hand, in Bolivia, the government activated two orange alerts, one for possible
00:05river overflows in the Department of La Paz and the other for abrupt temperature drops
00:09in six other departments.
00:11According to the National Meteorology and Hydrology Service, the alerts are due to the
00:14entrance of a cold front that would cause a drop in thermometers between 9 and 12 degrees
00:19in the next few days.
00:21The Meteorological Agency also predicted sudden increases in water levels, with possible overflows
00:25in the basins of the Beni and Desaguadero rivers.
00:34In Afghanistan, almost 50 people died because of heavy floods affecting the province of
00:38Gaur in the west of the country.
00:40The phenomenon also caused the disappearance of 10 people.
00:43As for damage to infrastructure, about 2,000 residential buildings were destroyed and another
00:484,000 were damaged by the natural disaster.
00:51The floods also caused the closure of the highways connecting Gaur with Kabul and Herat,
00:56as well as the roads leading to different regions of the province.
00:59Local media reported that another 7 people died in Faryab province, in the north of the
01:03country.

02:17Welcome back.
02:35The Israeli army assassinated a Palestinian fighter after shelling his home in the Jenin
02:39refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
02:41Hundreds of people bid farewell to the remains of Martyr Islam Khamenei Zia, leader of the
02:46Jenin battalion affiliated to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
02:49The organization claimed that the fighter was killed in an overnight Israeli attack
02:53while several people were injured.
02:55Medical sources confirmed that among the wounded was a girl who suffered moderate injuries
02:59from the fragments of the bombardment and the massive explosion.
03:03The attack destroyed the house and caused damage to neighboring houses, properties and
03:07infrastructure.
03:15It turns out that the United Nations organization warned of the worsening crisis in the Gaza
03:19Strip following the Israeli incursion in the city of Rafah.
03:22The organization pointed out that between May 6 and the 16th, at least 640,000 people
03:28fled through the Rafah border crossing after the beginning of the Israeli military operations
03:32in the city.
03:33The UN also stressed that since then, the supply centers in the cities have been insufficient
03:40to attend the affected populations, denouncing the logistical and security conditions hindering
03:44the delivery of humanitarian aid.
03:55The spokesman of the World Health Organization, Tariq Yassarevich, warned that the Gaza Strip
03:59has not received medical supplies for at least 10 days.
04:02Yassarevich warned that the Israeli occupation forces made it impossible to pass through
04:07the Rafah border crossing to Egypt, which is essential for the entry of humanitarian
04:11supplies.
04:12In this sense, the World Health Organization denounced that Israel's actions endangered
04:16the lives of the Palestinian people by not allowing the entry of supplies, water and
04:20fuel to supply the few medical centers and attend the wounded.
04:30The Israeli occupation forces committed at least nine massacres in the Gaza Strip during
04:34the last 24 hours, resulting in the killing of at least 83 Palestinians.
04:39According to health authorities, 105 other civilians were wounded during the attacks.
04:43Medical sources confirmed that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks
04:47since October 2003 increased to 35,386.
04:50The number of wounded stood at 79,366, with the majority of the victims being women and
04:58children.
04:59Ambulances and rescue teams have not yet been able to reach many victims and corpses trapped
05:03under the rubble or scattered on the roads due to the continuation of Israeli bombardments.
05:13Among the attacks perpetrated by the Israeli forces, citizens have denounced bombardments
05:18against the Shabaria refugee camp in northern Gaza.
05:22Occupation tanks shelled the entrance of one of the refugee centers in the camp and attacked
05:26citizens trying to return to their homes inside the camp, resulting in the death of at least
05:3015 civilians and leaving dozens injured.
05:33Local authorities describe the humanitarian situation inside the camp as catastrophic
05:37due to the continuous bombardments and the siege imposed on the families still inside
05:41the camp due to shortages of basic necessities such as food, water and medicines.

06:19In New Caledonia, at least six people have died after five consecutive days of riots.
06:23The Gendarmerie commander reported Saturday one person died and two were injured in the
06:29north of the island.
06:30Moreover, hundreds of people have reported injury after five days of riots and looting.
06:34These riots, which are the most serious recorded in New Caledonia since the 1980s, were sparked
06:39by an electoral reform enacted by Paris.
06:41According to leaders of the indigenous Kanak people, this reform dilutes their influence
06:46in the territory's institutions.
06:48The riots have led the French government to decree a state of emergency in the territory
06:51and deploy over a thousand troops.
06:59In this context, the French High Commissioner for the Archipelago, Louis Lefranc, said France
07:04has lost control over parts of New Caledonia.
07:06The official said that efforts will be made to regain control over the lost areas and
07:11to recover urban spaces.
07:13Lefranc pointed out that in three metropolitan areas, there are hundreds of demonstrators
07:17still standing their ground despite police pressure.
07:20Also media reports say the main hospital in the archipelago remains inaccessible due
07:24to the clashes, which prevents the arrival of ambulances to the facility.
07:33The Russian army liberated the town of Staritsa in the Kharkov region as part of its special
07:37military operation to denazify Ukraine.
07:40The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Ukrainian forces lost up to 150 military in
07:45the area under the responsibility of Russia's several groups of forces in the past 24 hours
07:50and that the offensive continues, adding that the grouping repelled four counterattacks
07:54by the Ukrainian forces.
07:56The military actions resulted in the destruction of numerous units of Polish and U.S. military
08:00equipment as well as others from Germany and the United Kingdom.
08:04Since February 24, 2022, according to President Putin, Russia carries out a special military
08:10operation in Ukraine aimed at protecting the population from genocide by the current Kiev
08:14authorities.
08:19The Russian government reiterated its disposition to dialogue with the West on strategic stability.
08:25Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out that this dialogue should not be held
08:29from a position of strength and self-exclusiveness, but only in terms of equal conditions and
08:34mutual respect of interests.
08:36Lavrov also considered crucial that this dialogue should cover the whole scope of the problems
08:40existing in the world in the field of strategic stability.
