00:00In the mega scandal of 300 billion rupees to bring wheat to the Nigran government, the Nigran government has got a clean chit.
00:07The inquiry committee has put all the responsibility on the officers and the Prime Minister has also appointed four officers and approved the inquiry committee's recommendations and put the soil on the matter.
00:16In the big scandal of 300 billion rupees, the former Secretary of National Food Security, Muhammad Asif, has been accused of negligence and negligence on the small officers.
00:28Former DG of Plant Production, A.D. Abid, Food Security Commissioner 1, Dr. Wasim, Dr. Food Security, Sohail, and Director of Food Security, Punjab, Imtiaz Gopang have also been approved to be executed.
00:40After the wheat revenue scandal, the Prime Minister has established a four-member committee under the leadership of the Secretary of Cabinet Division, Kamran Afzal, for the investigation.
00:47This committee was given only four days to determine the responsibilities.
00:51This committee had to find out who gave the permission to import wheat.
00:55Who gave the permission to import wheat in what quantity?
00:58Who was responsible for this?
00:59Who gave the permission to buy cheap wheat and sell it at high prices?
01:03The inquiry committee had to find out why the regulatory duty was not imposed on the imported wheat and who is responsible for this?
01:09The committee also had to determine why the Nigran government did not inform the new government despite importing more wheat than needed.
01:18In search of these questions, the inquiry committee has given 16 days instead of 4 days.
01:22On May 5, the Prime Minister called for a meeting on the issue of wheat in Model Town, Lahore.
01:26The Secretary of the Cabinet Division, Kamran Afzal, was instructed to provide a final report on the complete investigation of the wheat revenue.
01:35And he had issued an order that the names of the responsible people should be brought forward without any formality.
01:40But the inquiry committee did not allow the Nigran government to seek any responsible person.
01:46On May 4, it was revealed that the inquiry committee had sought the former Nigran Prime Minister, Anwar-ul-Haq Qadr.
01:51But the head of the inquiry committee himself denied this news.
01:55On May 6, it was revealed that the committee had completed 90% of the work.
02:00And this report will be presented to the Prime Minister on May 7.
02:03But then this report was so long that it took 16 days to reach the Prime Minister.
02:07This scandal of wheat was revealed when the new crop of wheat was cut and ready.
02:12So the government was not ready to take wheat from the farmers.
02:16It was found that more than necessary wheat was already available in the government warehouses.
02:20When the poll of wheat revenue was opened on the initial investigation, the mega scandal was revealed.
02:24It was found that from August 2023 to March 2024, 330 billion rupees of wheat has been provided to the Nigran government.
02:31And out of this, the quality of 13 lakh metric tons of wheat was extremely poor.
02:36In 13 lakh metric tons of wheat, insects were found.
02:38According to the initial investigation, the Nigran government allowed the private sector to provide wheat from outside in September 2023.
02:45Despite the availability of wheat, the National Food Security asked for permission to provide 35 lakh metric tons of wheat through the private sector.
02:52But in the first phase, 20 lakh metric tons of wheat were allowed.
02:56In the second phase, another 10 lakh metric tons of wheat were allowed.
03:00In the initial report, it was said that the agreement to provide wheat was given by the Economic Relations Committee.
03:05In this regard, it was also revealed that in October 2023, the Nigran government took permission to provide wheat through a Circulation Summary.
03:13In this regard, the names of the then Minister of Commerce, Dr. Gohar Ejal, the Nigran Minister of Treasury, Shamshad Akhtar, and the Secretary of Food Security, Mohammad Mahmood, came forward.
03:22All of whom have not been made part of this investigation.
03:26And because of these people's decision, 34 lakh metric tons of wheat were provided from Ukraine.
03:30It was also revealed that the wheat was bought according to 3100 rupees per ton.
03:35And it was sold for 4500 rupees per ton.
03:38It means that 1400 rupees profit was made per ton.
03:41And 85 billion rupees were looted.
03:44It was also revealed that 71 cargos of wheat were bought from the US, Ukraine, and Bulgaria.
03:49And out of 71 cargos, 26 cargos of wheat had insects.
03:53By April 1, more than 40 lakh metric tons of wheat were available in the government's warehouses.
03:58In the month of March, a new crop came from Sindh, and in April and May, a new crop came from Punjab.
04:04A 10 to 20 acre crop was added.
04:08A 3 crore ton bumper crop made Buran even more serious.
04:13The warehouses were already full of wheat.
04:16And the farmers were hoping that the government would buy this wheat from them at the best prices.
04:21On April 3, the government of Punjab and on April 8, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
04:25set aside a subsidy of 4900 rupees per ton of wheat.
04:28Although, before this, the price of wheat was set at 5000 to 5500 rupees per ton.
04:33The government's announced prices also buy flour mills.
04:37After the 18th amendment, the government sets the rate of wheat in the province.
04:41And the Subahi Mahakam of Khuraq and Pasco buy wheat at government prices.
04:46Although the government rate was low, the farmers were still happy.
04:50They were hoping that a bumper crop would come from the wheat production.
04:55But the government started buying wheat with great difficulty.
04:58The government agreed to give only 6 sacks of wheat per acre to the farmers.
05:03And only 15 sacks of wheat could be put in these 6 sacks.
05:07Whereas, 55 sacks of wheat were produced per acre.
05:10In this way, the farmers had to sell 40 sacks of wheat per acre on the roads.
05:15Due to the government's refusal to buy wheat, the farmers started selling wheat in the private sector.
05:21So, the price of wheat also fell from 4900 rupees per ton to 3000 rupees per ton.
05:25The hopes of the farmers were fulfilled.
05:27But the farmers protested.
05:29And especially the farmers of Punjab came out.
05:32They set fire to wheat on the roads.
05:35And they also announced the Mulgir Movement.
05:37And this movement was named as Zaraat Bachao Pakistan Bachao.
05:40The farmers are protesting on the roads.
05:45And they are putting up a protest camp.
05:47The government has given one billion dollars to the country.
05:50And they have given it to the government.
05:52The farmers have been distributed the grains.
05:55The farmers are not being given the grains.
05:57If they had to buy and eat commission, they should have done this earlier.
06:00When their own crop was about to come.
06:02They have destroyed the farmers.
06:04No one is going to ask them.
06:06Today, the government has decided to raid the wheat.
06:09And the district administration is not able to buy it.
06:13In fact, the grains that have been distributed have been bought by the mafia.
06:18The Prime Minister of Punjab, Maryam, was also not able to attend the meeting.
06:25Since April 22, the government of Punjab and the farmers had a discussion.
06:29But the result of this discussion was that the government of Punjab claimed the farmers.
06:35As a result of the crackdown, 150 farmers were arrested.
06:39The Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Agriculture kept confessing to this riot.
06:42But now, the Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, is saying that there is no riot or crisis of wheat.
06:49I have closed the way for those who used to buy corruption in buying wheat.
06:56And they say that there is a riot of wheat.
06:58This is not happening, that is not happening.
07:00There is no riot of wheat.
07:02There is no riot of wheat.
07:05But the Punjab government also approved the farmer's card to convince the farmers.
07:09And instead of buying wheat from the farmers, they announced a loan of 150 billion rupees.
07:13And this riot of wheat has been going on since April 20.
07:16The Punjab government is still not ready to buy wheat from the farmers.
07:20They are just refusing to believe it's even a crisis.
07:22But the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to buy 300,000 metric tons of wheat for the farmers of Punjab.
07:28The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is buying wheat from the farmers at a government rate of 39 rupees per man.
07:33But the news has also come out that the Punjab government has set up checkposts in important cities to prevent the smuggling of wheat.
07:44The farmers have been on the streets since April 20.
07:47And in spite of the investigation of the mega scandal, the Prime Minister has now realized that he has to hold a meeting on buying wheat.
07:56And in this meeting, he has to pay attention to all the issues of the farmers of Punjab.
08:02The sources say that the pressure of Mian Nawaz Sharif on the Prime Minister is increasing.
08:06That the amount of wheat that can be bought from the farmers of Punjab through PASCO should be officially announced and bought.
08:12Viewers, questions were being raised from the government until yesterday about what they were doing.
08:16When is the report coming? But it was being reassured again and again.
08:19Take a look.
08:21Wheat has come from Ukraine to Pakistan.
08:2324 lakh tons of wheat has come under the control of the government.
08:2510 lakh tons of wheat has come under the control of the government from 1st March to 30th April.
08:29Who is going to investigate it?
08:31Who made the summary?
08:32The Punjab government had set a rate of Rs. 4,600 in Punjab.
08:35That wheat will not be issued at a price lower than this.
08:38Who decided that?
08:39Why did the federal government allow the unlimited supply of imported wheat from Ukraine?
08:44Please tell us the names of those people who have done so much damage to the Punjabi commissioner, this farmer.
08:52Do something for him today.
08:53Tell us how these people have saved 34 lakh tons of wheat.
08:56We are running out of wheat right now.
08:58The government and the Prime Minister are very much concerned about this issue.
09:02And they are very much focused on it.
09:05You will see, God willing, the result will come.
09:08When we came, this whole process was going on.
09:11And we stopped them.
09:13This whole process had already happened before us.
09:15You can see the meeting of the wheat board.
09:17And who was the minister at that time?
09:19He was the minister of KTK.
09:21He gave the extension on 3rd March.
09:23We came and stopped them.
09:25If you look at the statement of the ex-federal minister, who was the KTK minister of food,
09:31that I had recommended that wheat should not be imported from Ukraine.
09:35That Sabri was approved against my recommendation.
09:38At that time, the administration set up.
09:40It will be simple, you can call him to the committee.
09:42Ask him who approved it.
09:44The matter is in front of the KTK.
