A restaurant in Taman Daya in Johor Baru was destroyed after a fire broke out on Wednesday (May 22) morning.
Tebrau fire station chief Shamsul Khomari said the restaurant was in operation when the incident happened and there were also customers having their breakfast there.
He said there were about four people in the building when the fire broke out, but they managed to escape before the fire spread.
