Consultations with labor and employer sectors on minimum wage rates in NCR set

00:00The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board, or RTWPB, in Metro Manila is set to
00:05hold consultations on minimum wage rates.
00:09The Department of Labor and Employment, or DOLE, said the consultations with the labor
00:13and employer sectors will take place on May 23 and June 4, respectively, while a public
00:19hearing is slated on June 20.
00:22The move aligns with President Fernando R. Marcos Jr.'s call to the RTWPBs during the
00:27celebration of Labor Day to initiate the timely review of the regional minimum wage
00:31rates within 60 days prior to the anniversary of their latest wage order.
