Senators on Wednesday, May 22 urged the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to crack down a possible syndicate operating inside the agency and are giving PSA-certified copies of birth certificates to foreign nationals in order to obtain authentic Philippine passport. 00:38 of these were fraudulent.

00:39 In the case of Mayor Guo, because his declaration in his certificate of candidacy is Filipino,

00:48 but his birth certificate is irregular, we cannot say that he is a true Filipino because

00:55 his birth certificate is irregular?

00:57 Yes, because there is an irregularity in the birth certificate, there may be other evidence

01:05 that can prove that he is not a true Filipino.

01:19 My suggestion to the PSA is to look at this problem carefully because this is coming out
