00:00So now let's go to tonight's Eastern Conference where Indiana is at Boston again, Indiana
00:07nearly stole game one, but the odds makers are telling us probably not going to happen
00:13in game two.
00:14What do you think Jacob?
00:15Nine point favorites Celtics tonight, total of two 25, man.
00:19I'm not an over guy.
00:20I always think the values on the under, but my gosh, there's just, I don't see any scenario
00:24where I could ever go under with the Indiana Pacers playing.
00:28And even if they don't shoot 67% or 65%, it's, it just seems like the way that they
00:33play is conducive to an over here, but I don't know how I'm really feeling about this game
00:40tonight.
00:41I sort of feel like another close game is possible.
00:44And is it, is it also possible Jacob that, that Boston is just simply overrated in terms
00:49of where these lines are here?
00:50Like should the line be five and a half, six, is this too much?
00:54I do think this is a little too much just because of what we know about the Celtics
00:57as a team, they tend to lack killer instinct.
01:00They get up big in games, they're up 13 in game one, and they tend to blow it and get
01:05into these clutch time situations that, you know, they should pull out of more often than
01:10not, but they tend to tense up.
01:12They tend to take difficult shots.
01:13They play some hero ball.
01:15They don't have a true playmaking passer, like not a Luka Doncic type as a passer.
01:21I think that kind of hurts them here.
01:23And the other thing I'm looking at, just from what I saw in game one, Al Horford is going
01:27to be at a disadvantage in this series.
01:30He's a great defender typically, but the pacers have such size with Miles Turner and speed
01:36with all their other players that if they get Al Horford in the pick and roll, if he
01:40tries to do drop coverage, he's going to be late to come out and defend the three.
01:44And then if he tries to defend the three, they're going to be able to blow by him.
01:47He's just a step slower than these guys, which you'd expect from a guy in his late thirties
01:51who has a lot of NBA miles on the tire.
01:53So I think that they're missing Kristaps Porzingis a lot right now.
01:58So I think as long as Porzingis remains out, I'm not going to trust the Celtics as massive
02:03favorites.
02:04And I agree with you.
02:05I like the over here.
02:06It doesn't feel right to be betting that in an Eastern Conference Finals game, but both
02:09of these teams can score and the Celtics seemed willing to play into the pacers and where
02:14they want to play a fast pace.
02:16So that happens again.
02:17I think this is going to go over.
02:20Yeah, it could tonight.
02:21I mean, it definitely seems like that's the pace of play with Indiana.
02:25They're the ones sort of controlling the pace.
02:26All right, let's move on to the NBA draft, which is coming up.
02:31And look, they're really just, Jacob, isn't a lot of talk about the first few picks in
02:36the NBA draft.
02:37All the talk is around Bronny James and where he's going to go.
02:42Jacob, I can't make heads or tails of this.
02:45I don't know if this is LeBron's camp or real scabby.
02:49It seems like such varying opinions on where Bronny's going to get drafted, if he's going
02:55to get drafted.
02:56Like two weeks ago, we were told, oh, he's still, look how great he looks.
02:59He's a potential first round pick.
03:01Now we hear he may not get drafted at all.
03:02Like how does that even happen in two weeks?
03:06Some of the ESPN analysts say that he's like a late second round pick.
03:09I mean, I think he's going to get drafted, Jacob, but my gosh, like the messaging I think
03:16is really the issue for me here.
03:17I don't know what to believe.
03:19I don't really know what to believe either.
03:21But the one thing I'll say about this whole draft is it's considered one of the worst
03:26in NBA history.
03:27And that's taking nothing away from the talented guys in this draft.
03:30And there will probably be really good NBA players that come out of it.
03:33But there aren't these top tier prospects.
03:36It's not viewed as a deep class.
03:37So I think Bronny James is going to get drafted for that reason, for his bloodlines, for the
03:42fact that, hey, he didn't have a great season at USC, but he was also coming off of a cardiac
03:48arrest and playing off the bench.
03:49So, you know, you can project him to grow a little bit.
03:53And I think any team that takes him is also going to be thinking, hey, if we take him,
03:57we're going to have an outside shot at landing LeBron if he wants to play one season with
04:01his son.
04:02So, hey, it might be worth it in the end.
04:04I think he's going to go somewhere in that second round range, though.
04:07Yeah.
04:08We'll see where Fandel sets the line.
04:10I know the draft is coming up in June.
04:12All right.
04:13Thanks again, Jacob.
04:14Great to see you again.
04:15And have a great rest of your week.
04:16Happy Memorial Day to you as well.
04:17Same to you, Craig.
04:18Take care.
