00:11the first couple will head to Brunei on May 28 until May 29 for their first state visit there.

00:17The President's agenda is to ask Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolquia

00:24to discuss progress on the commitments of the two countries in different areas.

00:31It is also appropriate for the President to visit the Filipino community in Brunei

00:35and get to know the contribution of the 20,000 Filipinos there.

00:39President Marcos, Jr. will also discuss the trade and investment relations of the two countries.

00:44Meanwhile, it is appropriate for the President to speak at the 21st International Institute for Strategic Studies

00:50or IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.

00:53Its purpose is to discuss and address global security challenges

00:59and this is an opportunity for the Philippines to share important and true information

01:04related to strategic issues in the region.

01:08President Marcos, Jr. will also assist the new leader of Singapore.

01:12According to the DFA, the President's trips are still in accordance with the commitment of the President
