00:00 The SNP has got a great team in the city of Edinburgh. I'm very confident that we'll hold
00:05 on to our seats that are held by Deirdre Brock, by Joanna Cherry and by Tommy Shepherd.
00:11 And I'm also very confident that the SNP can make gains in this election. But we're going to fight
00:16 every single election in every seat in the Lothians and every seat in the city of Edinburgh
00:22 and every seat in Scotland to win and that'll be the heart of our election campaign.
00:26 And there has been a poll which suggests that Labour might be able to take all the seats that
00:31 the SNP currently holds. How worried are you about that?
00:35 The polls are at a very early stage in this election campaign and I've been pretty candid
00:39 that the SNP's been through a rough time. But what's also clear to me is that the polling
00:46 position is improving for the SNP. One of the things I promised the SNP was that I would unite
00:51 the party. That's exactly what I've done. It's only taken me a couple of weeks to do that and
00:56 it's working really well. And what that allows our campaign teams to do is to go out and to
01:01 enthusiastically set out our message to attract support. And I'm very confident that will happen
01:07 and it will result in us not only holding the three seats that we've got in the city of Edinburgh,
01:12 but giving us the best prospects of winning the other two seats in the city.
