Alas Pilipinas makes semis
Alas Pilipinas whipped Iran, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15, to secure its first semifinals entry in the AVC Challenge Cup for Women at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, May 25.
The victory keyed the Philippines' first ever semifinals appearance in any AVC competition.
The home team rose to a 3-0 slate in the 5-team Pool A, securing a top two finish which merits a Final Four slot.
