Alas braces for Kazakhstan

Alas Pilipinas team captain and setter Jia De Guzman said the national women's volleyball team braces for a tough fight against a tall Kazakhstan team in the AVC Challenge Cup team on May 28.

De Guzman underscored the importance of Alas having experienced playing against another tall team in Australia during the pool play.

Alas swept Pool A, 4-0, after defeating Taiwan, 25-13, 25-21, 25-18, at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum on May 26.
