00:00 Cassidy! Think of the damage we can do now, man!
00:04 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most destructive characters in animated TV shows.
00:10 I'm gonna turn your head into a floor shifter!
00:14 Number 20, Bugs Bunny, Looney Tunes franchise.
00:19 You might not expect this iconic mascot to be someone with violent tendencies.
00:22 While he's a far cry from a bloodthirsty maniac, Bugs Bunny is hardly an innocent little rabbit.
00:27 For 80+ years, he's been tormenting the lives of Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and countless others.
00:33 It's this suspense that gets me!
00:36 He once set a bomb loose on the Easter Bunny, tricked a dog into falling off of a building, and even nearly erased Daffy from existence.
00:47 He's done some truly heinous things, and hardly ever feels bad for the chaos he brings.
00:51 Just because Looney Tunes is bound together by cartoon physics and barely any continuity,
00:55 doesn't mean we're letting Bugs off the hook for his crimes.
00:57 Rabbit season!
00:59 Rabbit season!
01:00 Duck season!
01:02 Fire!
01:02 Number 19, Bill Cipher, Gravity Falls.
01:06 Be wary of setting foot in Gravity Falls, because this killer triangle is out to get everybody.
01:11 The Chaos deity goes to the greatest of lengths to essentially unleash hell on Earth.
01:15 Through his mystery of chaos magic, he can do and pretty much destroy anything and everything.
01:20 This is what happens to heroes in my world!
01:22 He's responsible for the complete eradication of his home world, the second dimension.
01:26 If that weren't bad enough, he nearly destroyed Earth too.
01:29 But when he's not rearranging realities, he's also rearranging body parts like how he did with Mr. Northwest.
01:34 Cipher is an enigmatic force with sinister intentions, ungodly amounts of power, and a sick sense of humor.
01:40 So when it's all said and done, Bill Cipher shapes up to be one truly messed up villain.
01:44 Whatever will I do about that? How about this?
01:47 Boom!
01:48 Number 18, Slade, Teen Titans.
01:52 No, Robin. I won't stop. Not now, not ever.
01:58 I am the thing that keeps you up at night.
02:01 The evil that haunts every dark corner of your mind.
02:05 I will never rest, and neither will you.
02:08 Time and time again, Slade has proven to be one of the toughest foes that the Teen Titans have ever faced.
02:13 Considering that his original name, Deathstroke, couldn't be used for the cartoon because it was too unsettling,
02:18 you just know he's trouble.
02:20 There are plenty of times when we see Slade's special blend of terror take hold.
02:24 He was responsible for Terra's death and created major rifts within the team.
02:27 And even when he wasn't around, he was still causing mayhem.
02:30 His impact was so devastating that the years of torment he caused essentially gave Robin intense PTSD.
02:36 He's violent, but that's not a description that properly does him justice.
02:40 He's a stone-cold criminal mastermind who preys on people and destroys lives.
02:44 You promised to fight at my side forever, and that's a promise.
02:49 I intend to make you keep.
02:51 Whenever somebody dons this infamous mask, they make trouble whether they like it or not.
03:05 The mayhem that the mask creates is nothing short of a spectacle.
03:08 On the regular, he whips out all sorts of crazy weapons and inventive maneuvers.
03:12 But while he does everything in a hilariously cartoonish fashion, the pure insanity of this guy is no laughing matter.
03:18 Sure, a slender green guy in a bright suit dancing around is all fun and games.
03:22 But what about when he's aiming a cannon straight at your face or cooking you alive?
03:26 Yeah, not so funny now.
03:27 Ah! Somebody stop me!
03:31 If you're an alien whose sole purpose is to invade Earth, then chances are you probably aren't up to much good.
03:39 ...of, say, a full-scale alien invasion.
03:41 How prepared do you think this planet's defenses would be? Tell me.
03:45 While Zim's elaborate plots often border on the goofier side of things, they still tend to lead to horrifying results.
03:50 Wanting to hijack Christmas sounds like a funny villainous plot, but Zim having his computer drain the brain of a mall Santa isn't too delightful.
03:57 Who could forget the time Zim began harvesting children's organs in Dark Harvest?
04:01 Say, you're full of organs, aren't you?
04:05 Why, yes. Yes, I am.
04:07 And you wouldn't notice if you were, say, missing a f-
04:10 In fact, he makes so many unsettling choices that fans believe this episode is one of the reasons the show got canned.
04:16 With all the twisted things Zim's done, it's no wonder his own people known as the Irkins ditched him.
04:21 What are some of the most vile crimes a person could commit?
04:27 You name it, and chances are Peter Griffin has done it.
04:30 He's got a knife!
04:31 Ow! Ow! Ow!
04:32 Sorry, Cleveland, it's gotta be authentic.
04:34 From robbing banks for a living to getting into fights with a giant chicken, he's hardly an upstanding member of society.
04:39 He's also lashed out at kids, and in some cases, caused their demise.
04:43 It honestly seems like violent tendencies just run in his family,
04:46 considering Peter's infant son, Stewie, has also done some equally heinous things.
04:50 Where's my money? Where's my money?
04:53 For a character who's regarded as comic relief, Peter Griffin's actions are a lot less comical and a lot more deranged.
05:00 Darth Maul is one of the most vicious Sith Lords, and he's shown his ruthlessness on more than one occasion.
05:09 His ability to not only survive, but bounce back from severe setbacks has allowed him to dish out some extreme brutality.
05:15 You master Qui-Gon Jinn! I gutted him while you stood helpless and watched.
05:21 How did that make you feel, Obi-Wan?
05:24 He overcame losing his mind and body to get revenge on Obi-Wan, and also beheaded Pre Vizsla to conquer Mandalore.
05:31 Not to mention, he savagely massacred clone troopers in a hallway scene unlike any other.
05:35 Hey, look, you don't become one of the coolest characters without dismembering a few people here and there.
05:40 Saying that Star Wars has tortured souls is hardly anything new,
05:43 but Maul is a character consumed by hatred in a way that simply few others can rival.
05:48 I can see him. In my mind's eye, Kenobi.
05:55 Though your world will suffer slowly, I grant you a quick death.
06:03 As the cruel dictator of Apokolips, Darkseid is not a character really known to be very peaceful.
06:08 He's enslaved planets, broken heroes, and nearly brought the destruction of everything on more than one occasion.
06:14 While he often sends out his hordes of parademons to do his bidding, he isn't against getting his hands dirty either.
06:19 He's regularly gotten into intense scuffles with Superman and the rest of the Justice League.
06:23 At one point during the iconic Justice League Unlimited finale, he even boasted about how he carved out Superman's heart.
06:29 That's pretty freaking hardcore if you ask us.
06:31 It's no wonder why Darkseid's arguably the most menacing villain in the entire DCAU.
06:35 The skies will rain fire. The oceans will boil. The streets will run red with the blood of billions.
06:43 Only then, after your last pitiful hope is extinguished, will I end your life. Let's go.
06:57 This dog is a psychotic border collie who regularly does incredibly gruesome things to anyone he sees as a threat to his owner, Tommy Goodman, and his family.
07:05 It's probably best we don't go into extreme detail about all of the murders he's committed.
07:09 So rest assured when we say, he's not exactly a good boy.
07:12 In fact, the show would later reveal that Mr. Pickles is descended from a long line of sinister dogs who essentially took control over an entire kingdom.
07:19 Needless to say, you should be careful around this wild animal.
07:22 If you anger him, then it's going to be you who's in the doghouse.
07:25 (Muffled)
07:28 Number 11. Omni-Man. Invincible.
07:31 I will burn this planet down before I spend another minute living among these animals.
07:39 Omni-Man is kind of like Superman, if Superman decided to become a full-blown villain.
07:43 Saying he has serious anger issues would barely scratch the surface.
07:46 In the final moments of just the first episode of Invincible, viewers are properly introduced to Omni-Man's brutality.
07:52 He betrays and gruesomely murders his teammates, the Guardians of the Globe.
07:56 Later in the first season's finale, when his son Mark doesn't embrace his vision, they come to blows.
08:01 He doesn't just beat him within an inch of his life, he also creates tons of collateral damage in the process.
08:06 Let's just say, we're a lot less comfortable being in subway stations now.
08:09 (Thunder)
08:11 Please.
08:13 (Thunder)
08:15 Number 10. The Scotsman. Samurai Jack.
08:18 This is a sword!
08:20 (Sword sounds)
08:27 And it's bigger than yours!
08:29 In a future dominated by the evil that is Aku, you would have thought the most beastly thing out there
08:34 would be one of his many robotic or alien minions, but nope.
08:38 That honor goes to this kill-wearing fellow who likely hails from the highlands.
08:42 A feared warrior as well as one of Jack's closest allies, the Scotsman loves nothing more than to start a brawl.
08:47 Armed with his own magic sword, a machine gun in place of a leg, and a mean set of bagpipes,
08:52 there's no meaner Scot than him. Well, other than his Bonnie Lass at least.
08:56 (Dramatic music)
09:02 Muffin?
09:04 Don't you muffin me!
09:06 Number 9. Azula. Avatar The Last Airbender.
09:10 Unlike other princesses, Azula doesn't spend her days being pampered in palaces.
09:14 She prefers turning peasants to ash.
09:16 Anyone who harbors these traitors will face the wrath of the Fire Lord.
09:20 (Gasp)
09:21 There will be no place left to hide.
09:24 A master manipulator, infiltrator, and all around badass when it comes to firebending,
09:29 her accomplishments include bringing down the city of Ba Sing Se, turning Zuko back to the dark side,
09:33 and in essence, killing the Avatar. Albeit briefly.
09:36 Sokka's your name, right? My favorite prisoner used to mention you all the time.
09:42 She was convinced you were going to come rescue her. Of course, you never came. And she gave up on you.
09:47 Selfish in her wants, and relentless in her pursuits, she would happily burn down the whole world should it suit her ends.
09:53 And that was all before she started to lose her mind.
09:55 Number 8. Eric Cartman. South Park.
09:58 You just want him dead so you can have a stupid PSP.
10:00 Stupid? PSP is stupid? Did you all hear that? I mean, this isn't about PSP, Cap.
10:06 Granted, he may not be the most physically intimidating resident of the quiet little mountain town,
10:10 but if there's one thing Eric Cartman's good at, it's bringing about violence and death.
10:15 He nearly brought death to all Jews in South Park by inciting hatred,
10:19 got a woman to take her own life herself with just a phone call,
10:22 and even managed to take control of the world-ending Cthulhu.
10:25 And they all deserve to be sent into a dark oblivion!
10:27 You can do that, right? Send people into a dark oblivion? 'Cause that's what those buttholes deserve!
10:31 Of course, his own infamous moment came when Cartman arranged for Scott Tenorman's parents to be killed,
10:35 turned into chili, and unknowingly fed to Scott in an act of revenge.
10:39 Damn!
10:40 These two have been at each other's throats for decades now,
10:46 and while their scraps may not exactly be the bloodiest,
10:49 they certainly don't hesitate to knock the stuffing out of each other.
11:05 This is especially true of Tom the Cat,
11:07 who more often than not ends up on the receiving end of Jerry the Mouse's brutal comebacks.
11:11 Sliced apart, crushed, beaten up, set on fire, even caught in an explosion,
11:16 this pussycat has endured some pretty harsh punishments over the years.
11:19 But to be fair, he usually started it.
11:33 We repeat, the White Mouse will not explode!
11:37 Number 6. Carnage.
11:44 Spider-Man the animated series.
11:46 What do you get when you take a mass murderer and add an alien symbiote to the mix?
11:50 A whole pile of dead bodies, that's what.
11:53 Cassidy! What's wrong?
11:54 Cassidy is gone. There is only Carnage!
11:57 While he was a sick SOB all by his lonesome,
12:00 Cletus Cassidy absorbed the spawn of Venom, becoming a whole new kind of monster.
12:04 With all of Spider-Man's powers, plus the nasty tendency to turn his tendrils into weapons,
12:08 Carnage quickly established himself as one of the web-head's most dangerous adversaries,
12:12 not to mention the most psychotic.
12:14 Sad? Ready for some father-son quality time?
12:18 Between the two of us, there won't be enough left of Spider-Man to fit in a matchbox.
12:24 But we'll try.
12:26 Number 5. Joker.
12:27 Batman the animated series.
12:29 And I'll be smiling again, just as soon as we take that man there,
12:35 and slap him in that box there,
12:38 and roll it into that vat of acid there.
12:42 The clown prince of crime has enough death on his hands to fill whole graveyards,
12:45 and while he doesn't tend to be as blunt with his kills compared to the rest of Batman's rogues' gallery,
12:50 he's certainly not afraid to get his hands dirty.
12:52 You've forgotten what I told you a long time ago.
12:55 One of the painful truths of comedy.
12:58 You always take shots from folks who just don't get the joke!
13:02 Ow!
13:03 Whether it's with his signature laughing gas,
13:06 a whole assortment of deadly gags,
13:08 or one of his many ingenious death traps,
13:10 the Joker certainly knows how to combine theatrics with murder.
13:13 Heck, he's not above using sharks as a means to try and kill the Dark Knight.
13:16 Number 4. Itchy and Scratchy.
13:19 The Simpsons.
13:20 What if Tom and Jerry ditched their usual routine,
13:22 and tried literally butchering each other?
13:24 You might get something resembling these two.
13:26 In a rather brutal parody,
13:28 the subjects of Bart and Lisa's favorite cartoon show
13:30 spend each episode finding new and creative ways to kill one another off.
13:52 More specifically, we get to see how many ways Scratchy can be dismembered,
13:56 devoured, and just outright destroyed.
13:58 One of the most successful running gags in the Simpsons franchise,
14:01 the furry duo seems to get more bloodthirsty with every season.
14:04 Which one's a mouse?
14:10 Itchy.
14:11 Itchy's a jerk.
14:13 Ha ha ha. Yeah.
14:15 Number 3. Rick Sanchez. Rick and Morty.
14:20 Whoa! What the hell?
14:22 What happened back there?
14:24 Why don't you ask the smartest people in the universe, Jerry?
14:26 Oh yeah, you can't.
14:28 They blew up.
14:29 While traversing across space, time, and a whole plethora of dimensions,
14:33 one constant has become abundantly clear over the course of this hit series.
14:36 Cross Rick Sanchez, and you are going to die.
14:39 In a rather gruesome fashion.
14:40 Whether it's to protect himself and Morty,
14:42 or just for the sake of it,
14:44 it's bound to be bloody and oh so hilarious.
14:47 Try to steal his work? He'll blow you up.
14:49 Try to take advantage of his grandson? He'll blast you into a thousand pieces.
14:52 Inconvenience him during a mission? Prepare to lose your head.
14:55 All of these deaths are on your hands.
14:57 Okay, come on, maybe a couple of them, but definitely not the train guy.
15:00 All of them.
15:02 Number 2. Brock Sampson. The Venture Brothers.
15:05 Okay, what happened?
15:06 Your windpipe broke.
15:09 I said your windpipe broke.
15:12 They don't call him the walking Swedish murder machine for nothing.
15:15 As the bodyguard of Rusty Venture,
15:17 you'd expect him to get into a few slugfests
15:19 given how many super villains his charge seems to attract.
15:22 What might come as a shock though,
15:23 is just how good he is at turning them all into a red stain.
15:26 Due to his immense strength and ungodly endurance,
15:29 Brock can take an untold amount of punishment
15:31 and still keep on ripping people apart,
15:33 which is something he prefers to do with his bare hands.
15:36 Well, at least he loves his work.
15:38 I'll take care of these guys.
15:39 Are you sure? There's an awful lot of them.
15:41 They hit me with a truck.

15:58 Number 1. Flippy - Happy Tree Friends
16:02 Aww, look at this little guy.
16:05 How could anything so cute and cuddly be...
16:07 Oh, oh God!
16:13 As an army veteran suffering from an extreme case of PTSD,
16:17 Flippy more than lives up to his name,
16:19 as in each of his episode appearances, he flips out.
16:22 This is soon followed by a murderous rampage
16:24 where he brutally kills any other living creature in his path.
16:27 Whether he's using his own paws or his handy knife,
16:29 when you see that look in Flippy's eye,
16:31 you'd better get the hell out of Dodge.
16:33 Who do you think is the most violent cartoon character?
16:41 Share your thoughts in the comments.
16:42 "I'm going to carve out your heart and put it on a pike in my throne room."
