01:01According to the DOLE, the number of child labor cases in the country is declining.
01:07Almost 100,000 cases were reported in 2022 compared to 2021.
01:14The DOLE also recorded some regions in the country where there are the highest number of child labor cases, including the region of Mindanao.
01:26Children are often sent to dangerous jobs in agriculture.
01:32If the child does not go to school, if the child is in danger, for example, he helps his parents, he sells, but he is on the street.
01:43If the child cannot sleep for 8 hours and cannot eat on time.
01:50That is why the DOLE made an effort to help child laborers, including giving jobs to parents.
