00:00 PhilHealth has increased the case rate package for neonatal sepsis, bronchial asthma, and consulta packages.

00:07 This was announced by PhilHealth President and CEO, Emanuel Ledesma Jr. in the recent "Kapihan with the Media"

00:14 that the rate case package for neonatal sepsis was increased by 120% and by 150% for bronchial asthma.

00:24 Consulta packages were also added from the 13 laboratory and diagnostic tests.

00:31 Now, it's in 15, including mammograms and ultrasounds of the upper abdomen, pelvic, and breast.

00:39 The changes to the packages will be effective this month.

00:43 We have also identified these two cases, neonatal sepsis and bronchial asthma,

00:50 as priority conditions in the rationalization of select all case rates packages

00:55 to improve financial coverage as we transition our payment mechanism to DRG or diagnostic-related groups,
