The Paddle Steamer Waverley has been paying a visit to Warrenpoint.
The Newry Reporter was on board on Wednesday for the Light of the Lough Cruise.
The cruise was the launch of Newry Maritime Association's celebrations to mark the bicentenary of Haulbowline Lighthouse.
Here's some highlights of the wonderful scenery around Carlingford Lough, and we also spoke to NMA's James McArevey.Music: Feeling Fine

03:14 James we're on board the Waverley, maybe you can tell us a wee bit about why we're here?
03:18 Well the Warren Point Harbour Authority, Mangle, has brought the ship in for two trips.
03:26 There was an evening trip last night down to Soldiers Point on Tuesday and then today we've gone to Dundrum and St. John's Point.
03:39 It's a follow up to one visit last year, this all came about through the Waverley coming to Warren Point in October 2022 for refuelling stuff.
03:56 Then the Harbour Authority got on board, negotiated, got the ship back last year and now this year, two trips.
04:06 I'm told by the Chairman of the Trust that they've been very, very well supported and they're very happy.
04:13 Hopefully, Mangle, we can see this as a regular event.
04:17 I was going to say, it looks like there's a good crowd on board today as well. You're talking several hundred anyway?
04:23 Well I think there's eleven hundred over the two trips but certainly the Chairman is very pleased with it.
04:30 I think it's a great community initiative from the Port, giving people the opportunity.
04:37 The number of people I've spoken to today on board who are from all over the North and the Republic as well.
04:46 People down from Dublin, people from Belfast. It's not just a Newry, Warren Point thing.
04:52 I think for the promotion of tourism, an excellent initiative.
04:57 As well as that, I'd like to thank the Chairman, the CEO and the Directors of the Warren Point Harbour Authority
05:07 who have allowed Newry Motor Team to launch our base and tannery project for Hull of Boulogne Lighthouse in Cranfield
05:15 which will be coming up in August.
05:18 The lighthouse is 200 years in operation and we will be illuminating it.
05:24 The Bream Group in Warren Point, led by Thomas Bream, will be looking after the illumination once again.
05:31 And that is a stand alone moment. 200 years.
05:38 I was going to say, it looks like there's plenty planned for the base and tannery.
05:43 Maybe you could give us a wee bit of an insight into what's going to be happening.
05:46 We plan to have a few events between now and then.
05:52 We're starting off with a photographic exhibition of Hull of Boulogne and Carlingford Lock
06:00 which will run in Newry Library from the 4th of June for two weeks.
06:05 Then it will come to Warren Point for a week, then it will go to Kiel and then across the lock to Omise, Carlingford and Greenor.
06:13 Now, all these dates will be highlighted in social media and the local press.
06:19 And I suppose, James, for everybody it's been a very pleasant trip so far.
06:25 Absolutely brilliant. And I mean, the number of people that I have spoken to here today
06:32 that have never been on the water, never been in Carlingford Lock.
06:37 And it's just fantastic. A great atmosphere, something unique, something different.
06:44 And we're just so glad to be part of it.
