Sleeping Murder (1987) (Episode 2)

Part 2 of the TV mystery from 1987. Having been haunted by memories of witnessing a murder at their new home, Gwenda Reed and her husband discover that she had previously lived there when she was 3 years old when her stepmother Helen disappeared. Convinced that the body she saw was that of Helen, they decide to track down her former lovers to see who amongst them could be the killer. However, their probing leads to another murder and puts Gwenda's life in mortal danger.

This is the 2nd part of 2 of the Miss Marple mystery from the TV series starring Joan Hickson in the 1980's and early 90's. Also among a fine cast are Geraldine Alexander, John Moulder-Brown, Frederick Treves, John Bennett, Geraldine Newman, Terrence Hardiman, Jean Anderson, Kenneth Cope, Eryl Maynard, Ken Kitson, Jack Watson and Joan Scott. This is from one of my old video tapes, so apologies for any picture quality issues. I only have a few of the Miss Marple mysteries, but this is one of my favourites, and a perfect watch for lazy summer days.
