ದೇಶದ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು (DRDO) ಬುಧವಾರ (ಮೇ 29) ಹೊಸ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದೆ. ದೇಶೀಯವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ, ಆಯಂಟಿ-ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್‌ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ (ವೈರಿಗಳ ರೇಡಾರ್‌, ಜಾಮರ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ ರೇಡಿಯೊಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ) ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ರುದ್ರಂ II (Rudram II) ಕ್ಷಿಪಣಿಯ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾರ್ಥ ಉಡಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.The country's Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) set a new milestone on Wednesday (May 29). India has successfully test-fired the indigenously developed Rudram II missile with anti-radiation capability (the ability to detect and destroy enemy radars, jammers and radios).
