Donald Trump attacked the judge and the star witness in his criminal hush money trial and again tried to undermine New York's criminal justice system on Friday, the day after he was convicted on 34 felony charges.

00:03 Thank you very much, everybody.
00:06 This is a case where if they can do this to me,
00:11 they can do this to anyone.
00:13 So I'm the leading person for President,
00:15 and I'm under a gag order by a man
00:18 that can't put two sentences together.
00:20 As far as the trial itself, it was very unfair.
00:25 We weren't allowed to use our election expert
00:30 under any circumstances.
00:33 You saw what happened to some of the witnesses
00:35 that were on our side.
00:36 They were literally crucified by this man,
00:41 who looks like an angel, but he's really a devil.
00:44 He looks so nice and soft.
00:46 People say, "Oh, he seems like such a nice man."
00:48 No, unless you saw him in action.
00:50 And you saw that with a certain witness
00:54 that went through hell.
00:56 And when we wanted to do things,
00:59 he wouldn't let us do those things.
01:02 But when the government wanted something,
01:04 they got everything.
01:05 They got everything they wanted.
01:08 It's a rigged -- it was a rigged trial.
01:10 We wanted a venue change where we could have a fair trial.
01:15 We didn't get it.
01:16 We wanted a judge change.
01:17 We wanted a judge that wasn't conflicted.
01:20 And obviously, he didn't do that.
01:24 Nobody has ever seen anything like it.
01:26 Now, I would have testified.
01:27 I wanted to testify.
01:29 The theory is you never testify,
01:31 because as soon as you testify -- anybody.
01:33 If it were George Washington, don't testify,
01:35 because he'll get you on something that you said
01:36 slightly wrong, and then they sue you for perjury.
01:39 But I didn't care about that.
01:40 I wanted to.
01:41 But the judge allowed them to go into everything
01:44 that I was ever involved in -- not this case --
01:46 everything that I was ever involved in,
01:49 which is a first.
01:50 In other words, you could go into every single
01:52 thing that I ever did.
01:55 Was he a bad boy here?
01:56 Was he a bad boy there?
01:59 And my lawyer said, "What do you need to go through?"
02:01 And all you wanted to do is testify simply on this case.
02:05 Because I would have loved to have testified.
02:06 To this day, I would have liked to have testified.
02:09 But you would have been -- you would have said
02:10 something out of whack, like it was a beautiful,
02:13 sunny day and it was actually raining out.
02:16 And I very much appreciate the big crowd of people outside.
02:19 That's incredible what's happening.
02:21 The level of support has been incredible.
02:23 By the way -- and nothing ever happened.
02:26 There was no anything.
02:28 Nothing ever happened, and they know it.
02:30 But they were salacious as they could be.
02:34 And it had nothing to do with the case,
02:36 but it had to do with politics.
02:38 And do you notice the timing?
02:40 The timing was perfect.
02:42 This case was dead.
02:43 It was dropped by every agency, every governmental board.
02:48 It was dropped by the highly respected Southern District.
02:52 They said, "No, there's no case here."
02:53 Then when they announced I was running for President,
02:56 long time later, they decided to revive this case.
03:01 And they got a judge -- Judge Marshawn --
03:06 because this was very old.
03:08 They could have brought this seven years ago
03:09 instead of bringing it right in the middle of the election.
03:12 So they missed the statute of limitations.
03:14 They did everything.
03:15 Now, let me give you the good news.
03:16 The good news is, last night --
03:21 we just got a report this morning --
03:24 in the history of politics -- I believe --
03:26 maybe I'm wrong.
03:28 Somebody will find that I'm wrong, maybe.
03:29 But I don't think so.
03:31 They raised, with small-money donors --
03:34 meaning like $21, $42, $53, $38 --
03:43 a record $39 million in about a 10-hour period.
03:49 No, think of it.
03:51 (Applause.)
03:58 I like those people.
04:00 Because so far, I guess it's backfired.
04:05 Now, I don't know.
04:06 I'd rather not have it happen.
04:08 I don't want to have it backfired.
04:09 I don't want to win this thing legitimately,
04:12 not because they were stupid
04:13 and did things that they shouldn't be doing.
04:15 So we're going to be appealing this scam.
04:18 We're going to be appealing it on many different things.
04:20 He wouldn't allow us to have witnesses.
04:22 He wouldn't allow us to talk.
04:23 He wouldn't allow us to do anything.
04:25 The judge was a tyrant.
04:27 Oh, we're going to fight.
04:28 It's actually -- I don't know.
04:31 It's something where I'm wired in such a way
04:34 that a lot of people would have gone away a long time ago.
