00:17 March 24, at Clark International Airport, a Filipino who is working in the UAE was arrested.

00:27 The Bureau of Immigration saw that the OEC or Overseas Employment Contract was fake

00:34 and it has no record in the database of the Immigration and Department of Migrant Workers.

00:40 In the secondary inspection, the woman admitted that the OEC was fake

00:44 and she was bought on an online or digital platform for P7,200.

00:51 A Filipino who is working in Kuwait was also arrested in IA Terminal 3 this week, May 26.

00:58 The OEC was also fake in the secondary inspection.

01:03 According to the BI, a Filipino admitted that she got her OEC on a social media page for P500.

01:12 "When we see our countrymen being victims of human trafficking or illegal recruitment,

01:20 we do not detain them because they are treated as victims.

01:25 That is considered human trafficking and it is a non-bailable offense."

01:31 Ruth was also sometimes found online saying that they can create OEC and provide work abroad,

01:38 but she did not copy it.

01:41 Now, the application and OEC are being processed by the DMW itself

01:47 before they can work as a caregiver in South Korea.

01:50 "There are such cases, but it is better to go to the government because the DMW is secure."

01:57 Again, the DMW reminds that it is illegal and no one has the power to issue OEC except the agency.

02:06 "The OEC is being issued by your own agency.

02:11 If you are a direct hire, you are the only one who can get the OEC and this is in the DMW office, the central office."

02:23 "All they have to do is to talk to OFWs who came from abroad and they will get, look or borrow their former OEC.

02:41 Some social media pages are saying that the OEC will sue those who have plans to go to OFW
