00:05 After defeating Barangay Inebra San Miguel in Game 7 of the PBA Semifinals this Friday,

00:13 In the first round, the PBA Philippine Cup Finals will be played by the Barangay Inebra San Miguel 78-69

00:28 in Game 7 of the 48-season All-Filipino Conference Semifinals

00:33 held at FPJ Arena San Jose, Batangas this Friday.

00:38 The lead for the Volts is Chris Bankero who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds,

00:44 while Chris Newsome scored 20 markers, 2 boards, and 6 assists.

00:49 After scoring 5 points in the first quarter,

00:54 the Gen Kings were able to boost their lead by 11 points in the second quarter.

01:00 But a 19-2 run was lost by the Volts to beat the Inebra in the second half.

01:07 With a strong defense, the Volts were completely far from the Inebra's advantage until the end of the game.

01:16 Because of the victory of the Volts, this was also the first time they beat the crowd favorite Inebra in a 7-game series.

01:24 That's why the favorite of the Maralco head coach Luigi Trillo was given the lead by his teammates.

01:31 So everybody picking up each other, you know, Brandon I thought was huge helping Raymond.

01:37 This guy here carried the scoring load as well.

01:41 But you know, there are guys in our team that are points on the tap.

01:45 And Seeds kept his ground, Luke kept his ground, Bonk kept his ground.

01:52 And we're gonna need everybody again when we face San Miguel.

01:56 Bankero admitted that the series against the Inebra was not easy, especially since they needed to win the last two games.

02:09 Not only physically but mentally, you know, being down 3-2 and you know,

02:12 kind of our backs against the wall and everybody against us.

02:15 Credit to everybody, I thought everybody did a great job today.

02:20 Man, it was a dogfight. So I'm just happy that we got that win.

02:24 In the finals, the Vaults will face a tougher opponent

02:28 as they will try to steal the defending champion title, San Miguel Beerman.
