Is The Matrix (1999) And An Actor Who Resembles Hugo Weaving Shown In Robot Holocaust (1986)?

Elements of the Wachowski directed science fiction films The Matrix (1999+) may appear in Robot Holocaust (1986 / 1987). Produced by Charles Band and directed / written by Tim Kincaid, this dystopic adventure film has some similar themes to The Matrix:

- The hero of Robot Holocaust is named NEO (played by Norris Culf), same as the Keanu Reeves character.
- Valaria (Angelika Jager) comes across as a domineering (or DOMINATRIX-like) servant of evil (The Dark One). Possibly a reference to the Matrix title. She carries a whip.
- An actor / character I could not identify is a member of the hero band and may resemble Agent Smith actor Hugo Weaving.
- A reference to another Keanu Reeves film may bee seen toward the end of Robot Holocaust when Valaria is injured and reveals her android form. A geometric shape appears on her forehead. I thought this similar to what is shown in the opening of Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989). A polygonal shape descends from the ceiling. A possible piece of intelligent matter, it transforms into the phone booth time machine used in the movie.
- Andrew Howarth (the savage or barbarian) of Robot Holocaust may be a link to The Wachowski directors. He is credited as Andy Howarth in Moon 44 directed by Roland Emmerich. Also in this is Malcolm McDowell who starred in Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange in 1971. That film may show future references to The Wachowski films including Bound (1996) & Speed Racer (2008).
