People who keep parrots as pets are urged to legalise their birds to ensure that they can freely partake in activities the state government is planning to organise with a newly established association, says Perak exco member Loh Sze Yee.

00:12 He said there are 150 members registered with the association dedicated to parrots, but
00:17 many more parrot owners out there have yet to join the association.
00:28 He said the parrot owners should obtain a permit to keep the birds, and the association
00:32 will help them apply for a proper licence.
00:34 He said legalising their ownership will enable them to participate in activities planned
